was Mary also the Spouse of God?

No its logic. If one is around 1500 years before the other and they share some beliefs, who had them first?
No it is not logic, you institution is not the real church and has just put some truths among its false beliefs. People are drawn to truth and this is the poblem with false institutions. Buddhism and Judaism have been around longer, so maybe we should follow their beliefs. Your logic is flawed. Time does not make your lying institution right. It lies on so many things and has so many false teachings and practices which come from pagan beliefs.

RCs follow wolves.

The arrogance of the RCC is amazing.

there's no logic in claiming to be 'His church' when you don't believe in Him or His teachings (that includes those of the apostles), but instead you believe teachings of men that are contrary to His.

what beliefs do you think we share?

It doesn't matter what you or I or anyone thinks. What matters is what the Church thinks for it is the pillar and foundation of the truth.
Your church is no pillar or foundation of the truth, for it teaches much that is heretical and blasphemous. But Catholics are conditioned to blindly accept what their church leadership tells them to believe, instead of being like the Bereans, searching Scripture to see if what they were taught is the truth.

When I read Scripture, it is Catholic to me. It is certainly not Protestant, which came along 1500 years later - a modern innovation.

Jesus built His Church on Peter, not Luther, not Henry 8th, not Calvin, Zwingli, Knox or any other individual.

It is scripture to you because you had already been brainwashed into that way of thinking. The beliefs of non RCs is not a johnny come lately belief, they are the beliefs found in scripture so much older than you acknowledge, they are not a modern innovation and better still they do not come from paganism or the false writings of the POJ.

Jesus build His church on born again believers, not wolves which lead your institution. You have yet to prove Peter ever bowed down before a statue of Mary after she died, he never prayed to her after she died. In fact, he doesn't focus on her in his writings, he focuses on Jesus and his teachings.

He built His Church on Peter, not just anyone who happens along and claims an authority they weren't given.

He did not build it on wolves which your leaders are. He built it on all who He was and all real believers. You institution shows by its false claims, false doctrines, pagan practices and evil fruit it is not founded on Peter and does not follow Jesus. The evidence is there, it fails every spiritual truth.

Nope. The rcc built its church on Peter. That is why it is a man centered, apostate religion. Man will always be first to rc's and Jesus finishes way down the list behind Mary all the way down to an old lady that is a "rcc approved" mystic with a corner store in Vatican city.

They wish they had built it on Peter, Peter would have nothing to do with the RCC. He wants believers to focus on Jesus.

We have Biblical beliefs, some if which the RCC also has. Unfortunately the latter has many UNbiblical beliefs, which are what divides us.
I cannot in good conscience agree with anything that comes out of the rcc on the principle that what they believe has been so corrupted by lies that we cannot be sure we are talking about the same thing even when it seems like we are.

One would need to read carefully what they truly believe about the Triune Godhead, vicarious atonement, Jesus' resurrection, and eternal life to see if these things mean the same to them as they do to us.
