Yes they were separated from Christ, then they were also Chosen in Union with Him before the foundation. You need to put scripture above your reason.
Sorry but if they were separated from Christ in time

They could not have been united to him in eternity

That makes no sense

Yes they were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world Eph 1 4 you must put revelation above reason, or you will never believe or understand the scriptures.

Not possible for they were not in Christ until they believed

The church collectively was chosen to be holy and blameless

and these were not in Christ until they believed

Those in Eph 2:12 were shown to be without Christ

Eph. 2:12 —ESV
“remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”

not being in Christ before thery believed

Eph. 1:13 —ESV
“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,”

No the faithful in Christ were chosen to be holy and blameless

Your response is nonsensical.

It's like saying:

brightfame52: "Freddy is 6' tall."
TomFL: "NO! Freddy is a Baptist!"

Guess what? Freddy is 6' tall, AND a Baptist.

Wrong again.

Guess what?

The faithful in Christ were (1) chosen before the foundation of the world, AND (2) "chosen TO be holy and blameless".

No where was it stated they were chosen to be chosen

Even more nonsensical.

"Chosen to be chosen"?!

So just out of curiosity, how far back before the verse in question, and how far forward after the verse in question, do you read before you determine the proper CONTEXT of the verse in question?

My general rule is pretty much a chapter's width around it.

The Faithful, are individual believers that had been chosen in Christ before the foundation. Eph 1 4 At that time they weren't faithful because they didn't exist yet. However everyone chosen in Christ before the foundation will become one of the faithful Rev 17 14

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Your response is nonsensical.
Actually your claim is nonsense

In response to

I posted in reponse to

They were shown to be Chosen in Christ before the foundation Eph 1 4 must not put reason above revelation !

No the faithful in Christ were chosen to be holy and blameless

That is what the text shows

Nowhere does it state they were chosen to be in Christ

It's like saying:

brightfame52: "Freddy is 6' tall."
TomFL: "NO! Freddy is a Baptist!"

Guess what? Freddy is 6' tall, AND a Baptist.

Except you provide no evidence at all that they were chosen to be in Christ

The passage does not state any such thing
Wrong again.

Chosen to to be holy

not to be in Christ

Again that does not appear in the text

Even more nonsensical.

"Chosen to be chosen"?!

that should be Chosen to be in Christ

He claimed they were chosen to be in Christ

the text never states that
