Why don't you respond directly to me? Are you afraid?well, two different persons are called "God" in the Hebrew Bible, in the same verse
Show me the verse. Psalm 45?
So you believe in multiple gods?

Yep, men are called God too, but that wasn't your point, correct?angels are called elohim - gods
One God that is one person.certainly Bible teaches only one God
Why don't you respond directly to me?
A bit late but it's a start...
Well said.Rotfl... when you call out believer's relationship, you're specifically calling out Jesus as Messiah and acceptance of him based on that.
Tanakh doesn't mention having a relationship with Messiah but with his God. That's the biggest difference between Judaism and Christianity - a religion based on a man instead of God.
you didn't answer my questionBelief is unique tho
that sux 4 some i guess, but not for Abraham and his descendants of the FaithThere is no such thing as a "believers relationship" (with God) in the Tanakh.
good luck if trusting their own performance over God's performance on their behalfThere are only those who obey God, and those who do not obey God.
You're talking about, your focus is a relationship with Christ, who isn't God.faith

You place your faith in Jesus, whom you believe to be the messiah. That is quite different from Abraham putting his faith in God. Secondly, it is obvious from context that this was the sort of faith that is exhibited by obedience, not just a mental assent to certain beliefs.faith

You're tip toeing around the issue that when Christians say "believer", they are referring to Jesus.to have a trusting Faith relationship with God, one must first Believe
it's a unique requirement and work
the whole of Scripture teaches it/commands belief really
Wrong, a relationship with God. You're trying to pull a scam.to believe Messiah, would include believing His God
a relationship with Both really

And the point is, given that you are specifically referring to belief in Jesus, Abraham had no such belief.this is the Rabbinic Judaism forum tho

Adam and Eve didn't know specifically who would be Mankind's (and their) kinsman redeemer eitherAnd the point is, given that you are specifically referring to belief in Jesus, Abraham had no such belief.
That's right. There is nothing about ANYONE in the Tanakh having faith in the messiah. The concept didn't exist until the New Testament. That's why Chrsitainity is considered a new religion.Adam and Eve didn't know specifically who would be Mankind's (and their) kinsman redeemer either
they all had to believe and trust what God said, and to that point had revealed
