When They Tell You What Underwear to Use - You Know You're in a Cult:

I've visited the Mormon built town of Nauvoo twice in Illinois. Twice, I've visited the old Masonic hall which had been used by Mormon Masons there. Smith, Young, and other early Mormon leaders were all Masons. In fact, the sacred Mormon temple underwear is based on Masonry:

Great article, thanks for another persons perspective.... I love my garments, they give me a sense of protection, security and love from my Heavenly Parents.

True Christians have the full armor of God for protection and for spreading the Gospel:

Eph. 6:

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

All Mormons have are undergarments with Masonic symbols on them.

Big whoop.

When they start talking about our underwear, you know they have nothing. They are as sounding brass and tickling cymbals. Pathetic.

So, your undergarments are worthless pieces of material, right? Nobody should comment on the fact that you people have to wear them after going thru occult temple rituals. We all have to shutup and accept Mormon occultism as "Christian?" Nope, boj, doesn't work that way. I'm not posting for you or any other Mormon here. Only a miracle can deliver TBMs from the Mormon cult. I'm posting here for those looking in who are considering Mormonism, want to know more about the cult, or having serious doubts after joining. And there's plenty of those people out there. We all know already that Mormons won't give coherent responses to the issues we bring up - which works to our advantage when people compare the Mormon posts here with the Christian posts. We also know that temple Mormons are forbidden to talk about their temple rituals or their special underwear received at their temple "endowment." It's all a super-secret! Mormonism has a bunch of secrets!

But, does it really?:

Nope, though I used "undergarment", instead of "underwear".

However, we talk about a LOT more on here than your temple undergarments--like the temples themselves, the unholy ordinances done therein; how the attendees obey Satan in the video when he tells Adam and Eve to make aprons for themselves, by putting on their own aprons...

So, would you rather we talk about those things instead of the undergarments?

Mormons requested that I write a letter to have my name removed from their records. I didn't know why that was necessary, but I complied. They wanted me to attend a bishop's court. How stupid! I opted to stay away. Later I received a letter urging me to repent and informing me of my excommunication. I had not requested excommunication. Among other things I was not authorized to wear my temple garments! Really? They had never given me any! Can you believe that?

They don't give anyone temple garments, you buy them and key words you used where requested, attend, and urging.
There was no demand you had to do anything against your will.... oh my!

No where in the video does it tell us to put on our aprons....how utterly misinformed you are

Folks beware of those in sheep clothing, they pretend to explain Tempe ordinances without a dimes worth of truth, Accept our invitation to receive a free Book of Mormon and listen to our missionaries who come with The Holy Ghost as a witness that Jesus is the Christ...

There was no need for stupid people to tell me anything about what to wear or not wear. The United Church of Christ didn't tell my husband any such nonsense when he left their church. Only cults have such stupid rules and pretend that it was necessary to tell someone without temple garments to stop wearing them! That's insane!

We know what your temple ordinances are like and what they are for. Also, one doesn't need the BoM; we have the Bible and all of its truth therein. No need for "another witness" of Jesus Christ, especially from a work of pious fiction, as the BoM is, which contradicts the D and C and Pearl books in some areas.

Lurkers and gentle readers, stick with the Bible. In it you will find the truth about the true God of the universe and the true Savior, Who went to the cross to suffer, bleed, and die for our sins. We true Christians on here have the true Holy Spirit and we witness that the Jesus Christ of the Bible is the true Lord and God and Savior, and that we have eternal life in His Name, as the Bible promises us.

You aren't going to entrap Christians. Sheep follow the Good Shepherd instead of Joseph Smith and other false prophets.

You ought to keep in mind all the good faithful believers who wear the cross around their necks. Why.
Christians don't hide those crosses nor expect favors from God for wearing them. As a Mormon I was told, "We don't wear crosses."
My Bible reveals "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness."

Well you're a good example of once being trapped according to you.... maybe you can relate how you were entrapped by Mormons.

Oh, so the video has been changed? Or is it the recorded narrator heard during endowment that tells the attendees to do that?

Here is the transcript of the 1990 endowment ceremony:

The Narrator clearly tells the participants to put on their aprons after Satan in the video tells Adam and Eve to make aprons for themselves.

LUCIFER: See, you are naked. Take some fig leaves and make you aprons. Father will see your nakedness. Quick! Hide!

ADAM: Come, let us hide.

NARRATOR: Brethren and sisters, put on your aprons.

(The film pauses temporarily and the lights are turned up while the patrons remove their fig-leave aprons from the bundles. All patrons tie the aprons on around their waists. The lights are again turned down and the film resumes. The camera pans down and presents the Gods' perspective as they descend. Adam hides behind foliage.)

However, I read that the part about Satan talking about his apron and priesthoods was eliminated from the Endowment. Was the part where the Narrator tells the participants to put on their aprons also eliminated?

I read that there is less standing up, and less repetition in the ceremony.
