The title “the Lord” is used only for God. This is seen in both the Old and New Testament.
Yes and Jesus used the term to describe his dedication to his God.
And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: - Exo 6:2
Just as He spoke to Jesus in Matt 3:16, that you say is a lie.
… the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream … - Matt 2:13 Just as it appeared to Jesus in Matt 3:16.

The phrase “God is the LORD” and “the LORD is God” appear 3x each in the OT.

Consider that John the Baptist was “to prepare the way of the Lord”
And he did what he told Jesus there is One coming after him that he could not give Jesus, and what happened. The Lord Himself came to Jesus and opend up all of His heaven in that man that you still do not believe is true.
(Matt 3:3, Matt 11:10, Mark 1:2-3, Luke 1:76, Luke 3:4, Luke 7:27). Of course, this refers to the Lord Jesus Christ,
Jesus is only Lord if you obey and follow him to his Lord in who he said sent him, that you say is a lie.
who then must be God.
God is a Spirit and man is the temple of Him, but obviously you are not the place God resides, His temple as Jesus was.
This was predicted in the Old Testament in Isa 40:3. It is also predicted in Mal 3:1, where in addition to that, the Lord will come to his temple.
Yes and the proof for Jesus was when God Himself came and opened up who He is and all of His heaven in that man.
Jesus Christ is called “the Lord” many times.
Yes those who obeyed and followed him to his Lord who sent him to show you the way that you do not believe Jesus is the way of the Father at all. .
And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. - Luke 11:39
Amen. You wash the outside, a white washed wall, but in you is guile.
So God is the Lord,
Yes the Lord Jesus obeyed and call Father and said sent him.
the Lord is God
Amen, He was Lord over Jesus for sure according to what Jesus Said ofd hims and his Lord who sent him to show you his Lords way. Jesus is not your lord, you are lord over him, telling who and what he should be.
and Jesus is the Lord,
He is mine, but evidently is not yours, for you try and dictate to him your own rules
so the Lord Jesus Christ is God.
Nope here is what he said about that in which you call him a liar. Let Jesus be true and every man a liar who tries to dictate to Jesus and his God who sent him their own ways for a belief. You won't let hims be trues is all.

John 12:49: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 7:16. Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

John 5 :17 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 5:19. “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 16:23. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Only an extremely ignorant person would say such a thing.

For example, King David was the Lord of Israel.

It is so so ironic. He reads what Jesus Said of himself and his God who sent him, (if he reads it at all), then totally ignores Jesus as it is a lie to him.
FYI Gary, it is so ironic that you refuse to believe John 1:1+14 & 8:58 & Heb.1:8 in conjunction with Isaiah 9:6 as they are in FACT GOD's scriptures that PROOV the Deity of Jesus Christ the ONLY Begotten Son of God ( John 1:18 )! Case closed!

You are trying to think spiritual muddle clear, you have to obey it. You are trying to figure out God intellectually, but in spiritual matters you think yourself into cotton wool.

The tinniest thing that you allow in your thinking that is not of the same mind of Christ leads to spiritual muddle and is never made clear for you.

You read what Jesus said of himself and his God who sent him, then turn right around and rebuke what he says.

Jesus might as well have said nothing to you at all.

Let Jesus be true and every man a liar who tries to dictate to Jesus and his God who sent him their own ways for a belief.

4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
5 They are from the world, therefore they speak from the world, and the world hears them.
6 We are from God. The one who knows God hears us.
The one who is not from God does not hear us.
By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 1 John 4:4-6

They can't hear because they are from the world. They don't know what John is even talking about.

Agreed. We are in this world as a man, but we are not of it spiritually, but these are in this world and the world dictates to them the ways of this world, a man as a god. But you know and I know the God who is not of this world resides within us, making use not of this world but of His Spiritual kingdom as Jesus Said in Luke 17:20-21 that these cant hear a word of Jesus at all.

In Rev 22:6, Jesus Christ is called “the Lord God of the holy prophets”. Again, this is another proof that Christ is God. Note, one of the purposes of the book of Revelation is to declare who Christ is, and that is, Christ is the Almighty, God.

Nah here is what Jesus Said of himself and his God who sent him that you flat out just called Jesus a liar. Read what Jesus Said. If you continue to rebuke him then I pray his God give you the same understanding of Him as He gave Jesus in Matt 3:16 and us all who has relieved the same God Jesus recioeved in Matt 3:16.

FYI Gary, I thought no such thing as you a FALSLY accusing me of! I posted scriptures that proves Jesus is also God ( John 1:1-18 & 8:58 in conjunction with Isaiah 9:6 & Heb.1:6=8 & Exodus 3:14 )! Case closed as you are yet again shown again from those as is posted scriptures that you follow a False Jesus who is just a man only and NOT God the Word also! ----------------------------------

Isaiah 9:6
New King James Version

6 For unto us a Child ( Jesus Christ, Gary ) is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- Read it this time Gary ( Jesus is God the Word of John 1:1 ; O God of Heb.1:8 & the " I AM " of John 8:58 in conjunction with Exodus 3:14 ; as will as the Mighty God in this post! So stop posting that the real Jesus Christ is just a man Only ( as per your say so ) and NOT God the Son also ( as per those AS is posted scriptures - GOD's say so )!

As man He said all that, but as God the Word of John 1:1 He said He is " I Am " in John 8:58 in conjunction with Exodus 3:14 He said He is Alfa & Omega in Rev. chapter 22 verse 13! Thus you MUST now know that He is both God the Word ( John 1:1 ) and Jesus Christ ( the Flesh that God the Word became in John 1:14! Case closed on your say so ( man's word - 2 Peter 3:16 - Your Twist on those AS IS scriptures ) that He is just a man ONLY !
