You could say that and you would not be wrong. So you should be able to trace any of your traditions back to the apostles correct??
As an Eastern Orthodox Christian, this is what I believe. However I would not say that "I" would not be wrong, but the Church is not wrong. In Orthodoxy there is no I believe this or I believe that. What you believe is what the Church teaches and what the Orthodox Church believes is that we have kept what Christ taught, what the Apostles preached and what the early Fathers kept.
