You listened to the goobered ones, Civic. These were GOOBERED from like say...the third gen onward sir. TRINITY declared in 381 sir. Jesus absolutely divine and EQUAL to his Father in 325 A.D. sir.

NOPE it do not help. Theotes only means...get this...divine. GodHEAD is misnomer and added-on, in the history of our cherished past. Please tell me where this term is ever described. It does not even MAKE SENSE. God is God is God in Judaism. WHO, YHWH. WHAT, The Unique One True God sir. Where does a single HEAD translate into...3 huh huh HEADS of consciousness, will desire characteristics deliniated from the other one, sir?
not going to get a straight answer. They obey the Athanasian creed...they are forbidden to say three Gods

Athanasian Creed

1. Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith;

2. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.

3. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity;

4. Neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance.

5. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.

6. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is all one, the glory equal, the majesty coeternal.

7. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Spirit.

8. The Father uncreated, the Son uncreated, and the Holy Spirit uncreated.

9. The Father incomprehensible, the Son incomprehensible, and the Holy Spirit incomprehensible.

10. The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal.

11. And yet they are not three eternals but one eternal.

12. As also there are not three uncreated nor three incomprehensible, but one uncreated and one incomprehensible.

13. So likewise the Father is almighty, the Son almighty, and the Holy Spirit almighty.

14. And yet they are not three almighties, but one almighty.

15. So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God;

16. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God.

17. So likewise the Father is Lord, the Son Lord, and the Holy Spirit Lord;

18. And yet they are not three Lords but one Lord.

19. For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity to acknowledge every Person by himself to be God and Lord;

20. So are we forbidden by the catholic religion to say; There are three Gods or three Lords.

21. The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten.

22. The Son is of the Father alone; not made nor created, but begotten.

23. The Holy Spirit is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding.

24. So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three Sons; one Holy Spirit, not three Holy Spirits.

25. And in this Trinity none is afore or after another; none is greater or less than another.

26. But the whole three persons are coeternal, and coequal.

27. So that in all things, as aforesaid, the Unity in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity is to be worshipped.

28. He therefore that will be saved must thus think of the Trinity.

29. Furthermore it is necessary to everlasting salvation that he also believe rightly the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

30. For the right faith is that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and man.

31. God of the substance of the Father, begotten before the worlds; and man of substance of His mother, born in the world.

32. Perfect God and perfect man, of a reasonable soul and human flesh subsisting.

33. Equal to the Father as touching His Godhead, and inferior to the Father as touching His manhood.

34. Who, although He is God and man, yet He is not two, but one Christ.

35. One, not by conversion of the Godhead into flesh, but by taking of that manhood into God.

36. One altogether, not by confusion of substance, but by unity of person.

37. For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one man, so God and man is one Christ;

38. Who suffered for our salvation, descended into hell, rose again the third day from the dead;

39. He ascended into heaven, He sits on the right hand of the Father, God, Almighty;

40. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

41. At whose coming all men shall rise again with their bodies;

42. and shall give account of their own works.

43. And they that have done good shall go into life everlasting and they that have done evil into everlasting fire.

44. This is the catholic faith, which except a man believe faithfully he cannot be saved.

Yupper they cannot say HOW God is three and NOT Three Gods. They just say HE IS, I mean THEY ARE. WHOOPS.

jason was on CARM language forums prior to the crash, he was/is an atheist who knows biblical hebrew and greek fluently and teaches it online. this person george cannot hold a candle to jason when it comes to Greek and Hebrew. One good thing about jason is he is objective and without bias when it comes to scripture and is very objective. He acknowledges all the passages where Christ is called God even though personally He denies the very existence of God.

I believe this poster george is not his real name and his former alias is john milton on carm.
George Dunn = Nothead.

Where is that written in the scripture sir?"God exists eternally and simultaneously as Father, Son and Holy Spirit"
Anyway you must also believe that God died or at least part of God died.
Plus how does that relate to Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: Clearly speaking about Jesus.
This is according to Catechism 468...

After the Council of Chalcedon, some made of Christ's human nature a kind of personal subject. Against them, the fifth ecumenical council, at Constantinople in 553, confessed that "there is but one hypostasis [or person], which is our Lord Jesus Christ, one of the Trinity."93 Thus everything in Christ's human nature is to be attributed to his divine person as its proper subject, not only his miracles but also his sufferings and even his death: "He who was crucified in the flesh, our Lord Jesus Christ, is true God, Lord of glory, and one of the Holy Trinity."94

I do not believe this is biblical, God cannot die.

It's all nonsense and not in the scripture. Jesus is not God...and there is no mention of a trinity in the scripture

Jesus the The Living God made flesh according to 1 Timothy 3:15-16. Don't really care to argue about the Trinity.

1 Timothy 3:15-16 does not say Jesus the The Living God made flesh....Manifest does not mean "Made" Do you know what a Lexicon is sir . https://biblehub.com/lexicon/1_timothy/3-16.htm

15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

It does not say God in the Greek text sir.

I didn't say it said "God". It says "He". We find who that "He" is in verse 15, the Living God.

Maybe "made" was not a good word to use. Is revealed better?

God didn't say it sir I posted a link to the Greek lexicon ...the Greek does not say, God . Are you familar with the scripture sir...it seems like you are grasping at straws...Does God have a head above him?
1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
You seem to think these are my opinion...It is written in your bible sir.

It doesn't matter sir. The Greek does not say God. It says He referring to Jesus. According to your understanding, God died and was resurrected...

Since Jesus is fully God and fully man, yes. Who is Christ? The Messiah. Who died? The Messiah.

You are changing the subject now, and not reading what I wrote. Who is the "He" in 1 Timothy 3:16?

Fully God and fully man is not the Text or in the Text. "God" is a textual variant, in 1 Tim 3:16.

I understand "God" only appears in the KJV and "He" is a more accurate English translation.

My question is, who is "He"?

If you take the referent of v. 15, then "he" is God. But if you consider that the Church God established is of the Son, then my preference is...Jesus.

I see the anti crowd cannot understand the Creed the same way they cannot understand Scripture. Christianity( Trinitarianism) is Monotheistic. One God, 3 Persons.

Its as simple as that, not 3 gods which is Tritheism.

hope this helps !!!

but I highly doubt it will as the anti crowd will TWIST my post like they do the scriptures.

so once again............

hope this helps !!!
