Did God the Father save you or did Jesus?
All three members of the Trinity, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, were involved in our salvation.
How many Saviors are there?I agree.
Is this discussion about each of their roles?
How many Saviors are there? All three members of the Trinity, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, were involved in our salvation.
Only one of the trinity died on the cross. So, I suppose Jesus gets the official term. How many Saviors are there?
There is only one Savior and that is God who is Jesus. There is no other!Only one of the trinity died on the cross. So, I suppose Jesus gets the official term.
United effort:Did God the Father save you or did Jesus?
United effort:
Father God Drew, The Holy Spirit Convicted me of my SIN, and Jesus made the SIN OFFERING, through FAITH in which I was Born again, and indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
Next question??
Lotta words to say nothing of significance. Is God Spirit? Is the Spirit of Christ Jesus who is God? Is not God the Father in a Father and Son relationship and the Father is in the Son and the Son is in the Father? That is still one person but it is one person in unified roles. Jesus is the one God who is the Father and the Son in interchangeable roles. If what is in one is in another and the other is is in the one it is the same one!
Really! Everything has significance!Lotta words to say nothing of significance.
I gout messed up with the "interchangeable roles." part.Lotta words to say nothing of significance.
Non-sequitur, as Jesus "came from God (the Father)."Did God the Father save you or did Jesus?
God is both the Father and the Son and God speaks as both to us. God dwells spiritually in us as the Father and the Son because they are in each other.Non-sequitur, as Jesus "came from God (the Father)."
So if you say Jesus saved you, you are inferring the Father saved you.
(Do we have to have any more of this Trinitarian stuff here? Take it to the Trinity forum. It's getting boring.)
You seemed to have left out the Holy Spirit.God is both the Father and the Son and God speaks as both to us. God dwells spiritually in us as the Father and the Son because they are in each other.
No, Paul said "One God the Father (Eph 4:6)"God is both the Father and the Son and God speaks as both to us. God dwells spiritually in us as the Father and the Son because they are in each other.
Apparently he's a "Binitarian". There's ALL FLAVORS here. BUT HEY!!!! it's only "Theology" after all.You seemed to have left out the Holy Spirit.
The kingdom of heaven is in us and the Father and the Son indwell us in the Spirit. No, Paul said "One God the Father (Eph 4:6)"
Jesus said "Father....true God (John 17:3)."
God speaks to you and dwells in you, if he speaks to you and dwells in you, by the Spirit (one Spirit).
The Father and Jesus are located permanently in heaven.
God is Spirit and is one person! You seemed to have left out the Holy Spirit.
Interesting concept....especially when one see's all 3 present at Jesus' baptism.God is Spirit and is one person!
