Why does Jesus need to remain a man?

Anyone know of a scripture, or even logic that would explain the need for Jesus to remain a man, in a man's body after He resurrected?
One poster claimed that He had to be a man so that He could continue to mediate the new covenant. This is not correct because the covenant was mediated once for all time in His blood.
Ar first glimpse, it appears He took up a new human body to appear in, as He did look like a man and no one recognized Him
There are many scriptures that can be dicussed concerning His new body, and i am willing to do that, but for the moment, I am interested in an answer from scripture or logic that explains why Jesus still needs a human body?

First, it’s not up to anyone to prove a negative….if you want to argue that He ditched His body, then prove it.
Second, He was raised in a human body….can you shown us from scripture and logic where it states He didn’t remain in a human body?
Scripture is clear He ascended in His human body and will return in like manner.

You post as if you missed the point. I can repeat THE POINT, if you want to address that.
What is THE PURPOSE for the resurrected Christ to have a human body? That is not asking to prove a negative, as your sidetrack suggests.
NOTE: As I think about your error here, your responses is addressed to a different question: what was the nature of His resurrected body?
I did not ask that. Maybe you could address the actual question

Maybe you should read read your OP.
The only one in error is you, who apparently doesn’t believe Jesus was literally resurrected as a man in His own body.
God became man…for what purpose would He cease being a man, a human being, God in flesh?
BTW,
Scripture refutes your heterodox beliefs.

Maybe you will get around to answering the question in the OP? Why would Jesus need to remain a man?
You have categorized me as non-Christian, so why not explain to a poor unbeliever, why Jesus needs to be a man in a man's body? What purpose does it serve?

I don’t have to answer your silly hypotheticals.
How about you tell us why Jesus would need to cease being God in flesh? What purpose would it serve?
You have categorized me as non-Christian,
No, your beliefs categorize you as such....you seem to hold to the same belief as JW's or Oneness Pentacostals, although you refuse to answer if you are one or not. Why is that?
so why not explain to a poor unbeliever, why Jesus needs to be a man in a man's body? What purpose does it serve?
That’s not how we preach the Gospel. You either believe it or you don’t.
You choose to believe contrary to what the scriptures teach.

Ok, good. Why do you refuse to address your actual beliefs Seth? You like to question everyone, but you don't like to be questioned.
Your questions are off topic. You could start your own thread on those questions.
Or maybe I can ask, what beliefs of mine are stated in the OP. that you want to respond to.
Not just random attacks on me personally

No, they aren't....I just turned your hypothetical question around on you.

You weren't personally attacked. It's apparent that you don't believe in the literal physical resurrection of Christ and seem to believe He is no longer in a human body....that is not a Christian belief. Why do you refuse to say what you actually believe, although you pretty much say it without saying it.

As long as you are intent to engage me, why not do one of two things inbetween the sidetracks.
1. Answer the question in the OP: Of what purpose to the resurrected Christ is it to be a man in a man's body?
2. Admit you have no idea.

I'll answer as soon as you tell us why He would discard His body. Or do you believe He wasn't really physically resurrected?
2. Admit you have no idea.

Lol.

There is NO valid question on the table because scripture says that Jesus ascended in His body, not some apparition, ghostly guild or otherwise. Try believing what scripture says. Get a proper scriptural hermeneutic and cease trying to create doubt/strife within the body of Christ.

Titus 3:9English Standard Version (ESV)

9 But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.

1 Peter 3:15English 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, yet dot with gentleness and respect.

Ephesians 4:29English Standard Version (ESV)

29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

1 Corinthians 1:10English Standard Version (ESV)

10 I appeal to you, brothers,[a] by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

2 Timothy 2:14English Standard Version (ESV)

14 Remind them of these things, and charge them before God[a] not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.

James 1:26 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

Lol.
Why would He discard His body?
First reason. No one takes their body to the land of death.
Second reason: God had prepared Jesus a body for a specific reason and that reason was accomplished, death on a cross. Heb 10:5-10

And your answer to my question?

You tell me. He rose in His body, ascended in His body, but you suggest He's not in His body.
First reason. No one takes their body to the land of death.

Uh, Jesus rose from the dead....in the body He was buried in.
Second reason: God had prepared Jesus a body for a specific reason and that reason was accomplished, death on a cross. Heb 10:5-10

Yep....and He also ROSE in that same body and Ascended to heaven in that same body, and will return in like manner....

So tell us where He ceased using His human body.
And your answer to my question?

Again, there is no biblical reason to answer your machinations. Christians do not make things up. We believe what scripture teaches. Why don't you?

No, you didn’t.
I asked WHEN did He discard His physical body? At His death? At His resurrection? At His Ascension?
Did He literally rise physically from the dead? Yes or no?
