Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
1 Peter 2:13‭-‬14 KJV

Even vaccine ordinances?

No...

The word used in this case is ὑποτάγητε meaning be in subjection to literally means to arrange stuff respectfully in an "orderly manner underneath." Interestingly, Paul the Apostle wrote similar in Romans 13. This just after he had fled a city in a basket because the city governor wanted to arrest him due to him not ceasing to preach the gospel.

This is about social order and not a blanket statement that Christians are to obey the government in every instance. If that would be the case, then all the Apostles, Jesus, and the first century Church were all in sin since they did not obey the governing bodies. We could even take it to modern times; The Church was in sin because it would not help the Nazis find the Jews, or the persecuted Church in China, the Middle East or India are all in sin for not obeying the government to cease preaching the Name of Jesus. This follows the vein of thought from Paul in Romans 12 where he states that if possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone. Unfortunately, that is not always possible because all who would live Godly will suffer persecution.

And don't get me started on the vaccine...which looks more and more every day like an injection of Grape KoolAid. The government cannot dictate how many children you may have, which you must kill or whether or not the doors of your meeting place be closed.

Well....they can. The question is will they get away with it as we sit quietly by and watch? 🤔
