I'll tell you what he did...he set the precedent for name it and claim it. He sang the Word of the Lord until it filled his heart with the expectation that comes from a God who "watches over His Word to perform it." He reminded himself of the promises he'd received, and reminded Him Who promised of the promises...He set his heart and his hope on the One Whom he knew.
