wof and living 120 years

Still no example of a 120 year old wofist. 🙄
Beyond Cope, whom do you know that has made the claim? I'm curious to know. I've never heard of any...only one who was open to the possibility that he might not die. He died, in 2004.

I have personally heard the following teach this concept:
Cope, Dollar, Capps, Winston.
Hagin taught that no believer should die until he's at least 120 years old.
Hinn has said it multiple times, then said otherwise; but then Hinn (who is not WoF) is a confused person anyway.
Joseph Prince teaches that Genesis 6:3's "120 years is God speaking in judgement; God wants man to live longer than that."

I've heard hundreds of wofers make the confession.

Thanks. I haven't heard any of them for decades, except for Cope, who has come to New Hampshire a couple of times to honor his friendship with my former pastor.

You've clearly listened to more than I...I agree with Joseph Prince...because he agrees with Isaiah. I tend to agree with Isaiah more than I do with the Jet Set.

They pretty much recycle the same ole, same ole. Except Hinn, he keeps trying to find a niche where people will like him. I heard that he recently (maybe the last year or two) gave up on the prosperity message. Not sure if he extended his "trinity" to 27 persons yet....

But didn't Paul say he'd rather die and be with Christ than hang around here? Why would WoFers not want that? (Rhetorical question.)

--Rich

Seriously.

Die with Paul and his christ.

Never to live again but by Paul and his christ.

Paul is the master of such.

Rhetorical indeed ......

Got to admit the guy had a point .... but his point was no one will ever matter again.

But by him and his christ.

And he called it salvation.

Salvation for whom ..... Paul and his christ.

Just die .... Paul is god now?

He lost me in the nineties...

My friend Andrew Brunson got in trouble with the Presbyterians for working with him in Turkey early in the New Millennium. His impact there, according to testimonies that Andrew observed for years, was noteworthy, and sustained.

I just wanted to let this one sit out there to be viewed for a while longer...
Weird…but a great example of your religion in action.

in contrast, I’ll just repeat this
[Hinn] lost me in the nineties...

My friend Andrew Brunson got in trouble with the Presbyterians for working with him in Turkey early in the New Millennium. His impact there, according to testimonies that Andrew observed for years, was noteworthy, and sustained.

It’s great to catch gold doing something right and broadcasting it.

Franklin Graham was celebrating Me Viola Roberts Lamkin Brown's birthday today in his fb post. She's 110 years old..., I dont think she's wof.

Still no 120 year old wofist. 😉

Hundreds?

That's a lot. I'm glad someone is keeping count. I'm sure if I heard the claim I'd discount it. I'm with Joseph Prince and Isaiah...120 is too few.

lol .......

Maybe we matter then?

god .... can I claim 120 years .......

Sure .... you can claim 120 years ..... anything else you want to claim?

Health and abundance .....

Sure ..... not sure that gives you health and abundance ..... but claim away.

god can I claim no farting in the pool.

That might work .....if you don't go into a pool.

that refers to at the Change….

when the 144k are Changed to their imperishable resurrection body.
The word "everyone" does not, for me, limit the number of believers...

Our own expectations and circumstances and experiences and perceived limitations work together to limit this promise. Jesus never did. The question boils down to the basic one: Do we believe and adjust our expectations according to what we have seen and known? Or do we believe and unfetter our expectations according to what He said? "Not by sight" guides my heart and mind as I see the distinct lack of limitation Jesus put on those who believe. "All things are possible" takes on new meaning when you apply the standard definition to the word "all"...and avoid in thought the word "except."
