As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

How did Jesus treat sinners? ( The woman caught in adultery comes to mind along with anyone that tossed the first stone. ) Jesus must have been liberal based on the analysis above.

How did Jesus treat pharisees? ( A brood of vipers, and white-washed sepulchers comes to mind. ) Again, Jesus must have been very liberal based on the analysis provided above.

            ..........

He clearly treated sinners and pharisees differently.

What's true? Jesus payed for our sins while we were still sinners ( Romans 5: 8). He understood that there is a difference between repentant sinners, and unrepentant sinners that refuse to accept His payment.

" But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. " < - This is a very liberal teaching for the time. Paul got it right!

Liberal - is allowing LGBTQ people to become pastors. Clearly evangelists are not to run away from sinners and isolate themselves like the pharisees did.

"Embrace Diversity" Get Real, The Church Needs To Recognize The Wolves, And Protect The Flock!

LGBTQ People Not Changing Their Life Style After A Few Months Of Good Preaching, Would Be A "Come Back When Your Interested In Salvation"!

Same Would Apply To Heterosexual males desiring to prey on girls/women in the church Etc!

Wolves are identified by their fruit. If they do not listen to sound biblical teaching and do not heed to counsel with witnesses and elders, they are to be let go -removed- and placed back into the world.

                1 Tim 5: 1-2, Gal 6:1, Gal 2: 11-14, and especially Matt: 18:15-17.

I've witnessed Matthew 18:15-17 take place in a Calvary Chapel, and I have witnessed a person repent from his homosexual sin because Calvary Chapel teaches the Bible.

The Whitewashed Relious Spirited Pharisees - were wrong.

One embraces people, not their sin. This is Jesus' example. The use of the term "liberal" in your context is an unsupported assertion and hinges on religious misunderstanding. It is not based on Jesus' experience with the Pharisees and His outreach to sinners.

no idea where you get that he is the top name in CC these days, nor what the rest has to do with CC.
I'm very familiar with the Calvary Chapel mobement.

Greg Laurie is somewhat the God Father since Chuck Smith has passed.

Greg is the founder.of the "Harvest Crusades" that have sprung up around the nation.

The additional info is a background on Calvary chapels, which are Zionist in nature.

Chuck Smith did a good teaching on the new bible versions and how they are corrupt.

Tapes 575/576 and can be ordered at "The Word For Today"

The article attached shows how Chucks widow Kay Smith was treated by the Calvary Chapel Board after his death, they cheated her out of retirement funds and her life insurance policy.
