As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

  • Lutherans harbour a presence in their tabernacles - do not believe it (Matthew 24:26)

    “Therefore if they say to you;
‘Look, He is in the inner rooms
    - tabernacles
do not believe it. (Matthew 24:26)

7.28 ταμεῖονa, ου n: a room in the interior of a house,
normally without windows opening to the outside .............
the emphasis is upon the strictly private location of the inner room.
In such a context one may translate ‘a strictly private room
or ‘a small room in the center of the house.’
    [Louw, J. P., & Nida, E. A. (1996)]

So private are those multiple inner rooms,
that no one else can possibly fit into them.

There is nothing to be gained by taking passages out of context like was done in the OP.

Here is the context, "Behold, I have told you before.Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew 24:25-27 KJV

Test all things and praise God from whom all blessings flow!

There is no presence in those inner rooms - tabernacles,
as Jesus comes in an entirely different way.

      Fine !!!!

“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’
do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms
            - tabernacles!’
            do not believe it.
            (Matthew 24:26).

Are you capable of explaining that prophecy of Jesus
about the end times in which a false Christ, dwells in multiple rooms.

Proper apologetics not only require this to be refuted,
but an understanding of what you think
it is supposed to mean is also required.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE THE WHOLE BIBLE IS INSPIRED. . .or that the things Luke wrote don't belong there.

Such a person is a heretic.
God's Word (Scripture) will convince me. YOUR argument is your own.

I want to be so full of Jesus that if a mosquito bites me, he will fly away singing 'there's power in the blood. . .' (author unknown)

It was Jesus, who warned about worshipping
                a false Christ in the
inner rooms - tabernacles (Matthew 24:26)

                Jesus appointed twelve apostles
to bring the revelation of the Father

He too doesn't believe that the Roman canon is inspired.
Those who don't know Jesus call Him a heretic !!!!!

Proper apologetics cannot be expected from fools.

Is that the reason YOU cannot DO proper apologetics? Is that a reason to deny the writings of Luke as belonging in the Bible?

God's Word (Scripture) will convince me. YOUR argument is your own.

I have no objection, if you join the Catholics and the Lutherans.

You have misread the passage. The point being made is that if you hear that the coming of Jesus is only here or there then don't believe it. The reason why is in the very next passage. "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew 26:27 KJV
