As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

So--how do you collate a dead faith with salvation? The Lutherans do preach salvation comes to the exclusion of works?

Eph2 does not cause me any problems. I don't believe one is saved by works, but by God's grace--and that grace unto life, as a personal reception---goes to them which obey God:

Hebrews 5:9 ---King James Version (KJV)
    9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

So--why do the Lutherans preach a gospel of obtaining salvation without any acts of obedience to Jesus Christ?

You didn't have to let him down that hard. That was cruel.

So--Spanish Catholic? Russian Catholic? English Catholic? Got Catholic DNA in the blood? Related to the Pope? There just has to be something Catholic---which can be used as a whipping post.

not at all....I'm just curious cause RCC always rush to defend your denial of the finished work of Christ while over looking your anti trinitarianism.

You never did answer my question. Are you Mormon?

kinda like how you do with this verse.
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
                or this one
yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and

not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

                or this one
[ The Righteous Shall Live by Faith] For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

I'm Orthodox. But I really have nothing against my Roman cousins.

Dropkick--most everyone here knows I am LDS. I've been around a long time for most not to know that.

Do does that mean Mormon and LDS are the same thing?

Most people know the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints(LDS) as "Mormons".

So it's possible to be called Mormon and yet still worship Christ. Kind of like how Lutherans are called Lutherans and still worship Christ.
