As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

    That isn't my oxymoron !!!!!
No need for the two prophets (Rev 11) to correct the born-again, if they weren't intoxicated on the Roman harlotry of adding to the FOUNDATIONAL apostles and prophets.

So do you know any pentecostals that are dispensational? Or are you one by any chance? Just curious!
The Way International was/is dispensational. Also by the way unitarian.

You guys think "works" are extra credit. No...you will be judged by your works. And this means, works of faith or works of iniquity.

The necessary link between works and faith for the Jew means that no one can geddaround faith works. Correct attitude means winning actions, even Vince Lombardi knew that one sir.
The problem with faith as rule INSTEAD of "works" is:

          1) Paul's definition of "works" had a Pharisee connotation.
          2) Faith as justification has the same potential pitfall as works, as in...how MUCH faith is necessary for salvation? No one knows.
          3) God is the Judge, and Jesus is the mediator or not-mediator. Jesus said he was not a judge, but he does judge in a sense: mediating or not mediating.
          4) AofG "security" is related to the Baptist's OSAS. Both are dead FALSE. Why? Since (5) below.
          5) Shema means we will fall SHORT of the Great Command, but what God calls the FAULT GAP is His decision alone. In other words, what God calls SIN
is His own determination sir. And He is predisposed to allow Jesus the agent or not here, of salvation, to mediate or not.

The FACT is, you and any Baptist or any Christian in general can decide whether or not to fear God. I can say as a generalized statement however...AofG frowns upon
any fear of YHWH. And besides this, they don't even know WHO YHWH is to begin with.

The Father only. That is all, Bobby. You guys couldn't tie your SHOES if the cheat notes were under your ball caps sir.

Hint: If the Assemblies of God in general had a HINT of the fear of God, there would be no

          1) Toronto uprisings, funny manifestations of Spirit (roaring like a lion, laughing like a hyena).
          2) Benny Hinns, Jimmy Buffet Stewart I mean Swaggart tears on the telly.
          3) Jim Bakker shenigans exposed.
          4) "Abundant Life" theologies including 10 times your tithe Rule, God wants you to have a Corvette or Plastic Breasts or anything
          weird and not so wonderful.
          5) Oddball end-time prophesies when Jesus said no man will know when.
          6) Testimonies of repentance and renewal as lukewarmness comes repeatedly.

Well it WOULD be if the AoG was ever "eternal security" oriented. We USED TO BE a "One Strike and you're OUT!!" Denomination. we're not so much any more, but OSAS was NEVER on the table.

You guys think "works" are extra credit.
We KNOW that "Works have no part in salvation, and TRYING TO INCLUDE THEM (the Galatian issue) makes Jesus of no effect in one's life.

No...you will be judged by your works. And this means, works of faith or works of iniquity.
True - at the judgement of reward - but even if you HAVE NO works, you're still saved (1 Cor 3:15)

AofG frowns upon any fear of YHWH.
Which only tells us about your total ignorance of the AoG, and it's beliefs. IF you even care, https://ag.org/Beliefs/Statement-of-...ental-Truths#2 is where what the AoG hangs it's hat on is found.

Hint: If the Assemblies of God in general had a HINT of the fear of God, there would be no: etc. etc.
What you really need to do before making yourself look more ignorant, is to figure out what was historic AoG Belief/Practice, and what was "Charismatic" at the time. You'd probably be surprised at the degree of disassociation between the Charismatics, and the AoG. You SHOULD ALSO learn not to confuse the beliefs of a DENOMINATION with the beliefs/practices of individual (in this case "Full Gospel") ministries. The AoG was, IS, and will continue to be primarily a "Missionary Society" (as witnessed by where our membership is found).
