  • Archbishop urges Pope to answer question on divinity of Christ

so it comes down to this

"Abp Viganò urges Pope to personally answer claims he doesn’t believe in divinity of Christ"

    edit

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò said: “Let your ‘yes’ be ‘yes,’ and your ‘no’ be ‘no.’”

“Why doesn’t the Pope use the language of simple people, while he invites people ‘Cher jaleo,’ to create chaos, confusion and division. Is this the mission of the Pope? Hacer jaleo.”

“In the sense that Christians expect a clear answer from the Pope himself. The thing is too important; it is essential: Yes, I believe that Christ is the Son of God made Man, the only Savior and Lord,” Archbishop Viganò replied. "

Actually Christians don't expect an answer from the pope.. we see him for who he is.

The question that always runs through my mind at times like this.. they believe Christ founded their church, but apparently they don't believe His is able to keep it

      Bergoglio is an atheist.
"The Holy Roman Church condemns, rejects, anathematizes and declares to be outside the Body of Christ, which is the Church, whoever holds opposing or contrary views.” Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence

It appears that the present "Pope" is a universalist, and quite probably not a Born Again Christian at all.

"if the phrase attributed to him is not true, then because of its gravity and its being in quotation marks and being attributed to him by one of the most famous journalists in all of Italy in the most widely sold newspaper in the country, the Vatican has the duty to clearly deny it, admonishing Scalfari that he is not to attribute false and heretical statements to the pope anymore.
Instead, once again in the Vatican they are playing clever games. The director of the Holy See Press Office pulled out smoke and mirrors, saying:
[T]he words that Dr. Eugenio Scalfari attributes in quotation marks to the Holy Father during talks with him cannot be considered a faithful account of what was actually said but represent a personal and free interpretation of what he heard, as appears completely evident from what is written today regarding the divinity of Jesus Christ. no middle men, no spoke person; no one who wasn't there, no director of of the press office.

Can the current Catholic Church (and Carm-posting Catholics) ever give a clear answer?

So, the public has been told that the words of the journalist are not quotes from the Pope. Why are people continuing to bang their heads on this wall?

What is unclear about, "The Pope didn't say that."?

Just like the liberal, fake news, you make up straw men and attribute them to the Pope.
But the real non-believers are those who claim to believe Scripture alone and yet write off all the
clear Teachings of Scripture based upon their man made Protestant predispositions.

                Pray!

we all agree the are not actual word for word quotes:

All the Pope has to do is answer Abp Viganò's question.
and the head banging wil stop
