  • How Immense is the Darkness That Roman Catholics Are Lost In?

Ignorance of God's Word leaves a person vulnerable to spiritual deception, and for the most part, Roman Catholics have little to no knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, leaving them open prey to Satan and his wiles which are rooted wide and deep within the Roman Catholic Church. And the fact that the average "run of the mill" Roman Catholic priests are just as ignorant of Holy Scripture as the parishioners, is a given - and pathetically, many of them don't even know how to look up Scripture references! This total lack of Biblical understanding among both clergy and RC laity leaves Roman Catholics wide open to all kinds of spiritual deception that they are taught to practice openly such as: idolatry, false sacrifice, praying to the dead, monotonous repetitive prayers, veneration of dead things, and the wearing of fetishes such as miraculous medals and scapulars of various colors, shapes and sizes. Such practices do make Roman Catholics susceptible to evil spirits and further deception, but it is difficult to know as to what degree. Since their "church" leaves them devoid of the Word of God to lead and guide them they are "carried about by every wind of doctrine." They unwittingly engage in practices that have more in common with the occult than they do with biblical Christianity. Just the mere fact that a huge number of Roman Catholics in every corner of the world, who along with their current Roman Catholicism also include their practices of spiritism, shamanism, voodoo, witchcraft, Santeria, and many other practices of the like, which strongly indicates that the problem is hugely significant - but is ignored all the way to, and including, the Vatican.
To what extent then, can the errors of Roman Catholicism and the feigned inability of Roman Catholics to see these errors be attributed to spiritual forces of darkness? Will any Roman Catholics dare to answer this question?
RC's do know God, but the Bible indicates that it is a knowledge in condemnation, a knowledge enabling them to know things about themselves and the world around them, even though they suppress the truth of God which makes such knowledge possible.

The errors are on the part of the nCCs who make the false claim that scripture alone is their final authority and then proceed to teach doctrines that scripture alone doesn't teach.

    - a person is saved by faith alone
    - a Christian is imputed with the righteousness of Christ at the time of conversion
    - this imputed righteousness of Christ is what we stand before God on
    -
    -

How many of these errors can and the feigned inability of the nCCs to see these errors be attributed to spiritual forces of darkness?

    It can work both ways.
"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." Jim Elliot

"There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still." Betsy ten Boom

"God in His deepest mystery is not a solitude, but a family, since He has in Himself fatherhood, sonship, and the essence of the family, which is love." John Paul II

’Then Mary said, ‘Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.’ One of the greatest responses in all of scripture.

RCC's way: uninspired tradion + idols/statues + two sinless mediators and advocates.

Using your post as an example, it is clear from Scripture that Satan uses false religion to achieve his evil purposes. Roman Catholics love to ignore, and in fact are never educated about the Bible's warning that " Satan disquises himself as an angel of light." Satan knows that a lie concealed within a truth is more readily received. For this reason, Satan often uses false religion to lead the unsuspecting away from God. Even a religious system containing much truth and promoting moral principles can be a powerful tool in his hand, as long as it does not contain the truth and does not preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

something that most catholics don't know. when asked what it is they detour from it or post catholic babble.

the errors are with and from the RCC. We've had hundreds of posts on what you've posted above and the error in on your side.

Good question: what absolute authority does one use to test deception?

God. Jesus said, "..this is my body...this is my blood of the covenant...". The nCCs say that it is not his body and it is not his blood of the covenant. The deception has been tested.

You're begging; you assume RCC can call down Jesus into a wafer. Never taught by Scripture, Jesus, nor his apostles.

And the nCCs fail to see these errors that can be attributed to spiritual forces of darkness.

OF course all three things that a ROMAN CATHOLIC calls "ERRORS" are the TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL which Scripture DOES Teach, and the reason that Many (Maybe most) Roman Catholics are lost in their SIN, and hell-bound when they die.

Are these statements based on scripture alone or your interpretation of scripture?
