As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

We tore the whole house upside down both times.
If that happened in my house, we would blame the cat!

I realize the OP doesn't want me to pray for her because I am Catholic or some similar reason. However, I pray even for those that consider me their enemy.

Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools, or you will become as foolish as they are.

True...years ago, when my grandsons were 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 years old, we were all staying in a townhouse on a Naval base for a night, near a beach in New Jersey. Right before we were to leave the next day, our daughter discovered her wedding ring and engagement ring missing. She had put them on the dresser in the bedroom before going to sleep the night before. She and her husband and my husband were tearing the place apart, trying to find them. To get the boys out of their hair, I took them to a nearby park, with swingsets and teeter-totters, etc. After an hour, I took them back to the house. It suddenly occurred to me to ask the older boy, Julian, if HE knew where the rings were, since I remember my daughter saying the boys sometimes played with her jewelry. He looked hesitantly at me and nodded. I took his hand and said "Okay show me." He looked doubtful, as if he were afraid he would get into trouble. I reassured him he wasn't in trouble so when we got inside the foyer, I asked him where the rings were. He pointed upwards. I told him to take me to them. He took my hand again and led me straight to the bedroom my daughter and her husband had shared and went to the floor register--the kind that run almost the entire wall length--and pointed down into it. I peered closely and then saw the rings sparkling at the bottom. I told everyone about it and they found a screw driver and managed to unscrew the register top and extract the rings.

So ,it isn't always cats that can do that!

I'm looking for your prayer request. Got one? Or God's answer to prayer? Help me find that. I have a screwdriver handy. Also a crowbar. I also have a dog that chases cats. What else do you think I need? Or maybe you did not see what forum this is. Maybe you thought this is about house design and demolition or bedtime storytelling.

How strange that prayer can easily get derailed into a job posting board or even house remodeling. How strange that some lose track so very easily. Hey gang! There is a world to reach, there are people to reach who face really tough issues! Let's get back to P-R-A-Y-E-R! In case some folks were not informed: prayer is one of the most important and powerful ministries given to believers. To BELIEVERS! Any believers out there?

My prayer request? That God would miraculously, supernaturally, against all odds, remove posters who derail honest attempts to pray. Or maybe God will remove the sham of pretending some believe in prayer.

May God have mercy on this place and renew an interest in the vital work and ministry of prayer.

Oh, dear, I sure hope I did not hurt someone's feelings! If so, maybe someone will report someone. derrrrrrrr..

                      WOW.........

I am not sure what possessed you to write that, but Bonnie and Jake are my friends. Their posts have been a comfort to me. Allowing me to have grace for myself and to understand sometimes things just happen.

If anyone is off course about this prayer thread, I dare say it would be you.

What a critical spirit against people who have been praying for me. Bonnie is a very loving and kind CHRISTIAN who has repeatedly said that she is praying for me. She was doing nothing more than sharing an experience. I appreciate her for that.

                      Pray about that.
