As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

  • Controlling weather

I'm still waiting for a wofist to step forward and demonstrate their great big huge faith and control the weather over a large part of the nation. Help save some lives today and faith the temperature down for those who are going to suffer through the heat. I'm sure folks would appreciate your Centurion faith if you step up to protect them today. Just think what you could do for the Gospel when people realize faith can even control the weather by your example. You'll be a wofist hero.

I guess there is no wof capable of doing anything about this heat killing people. Not even Copeland, who claims he can change the weather. I guess he is in one of his mansions sitting in his faith A/C and thinking about getting a new jet. After all, ol' Jesse is believin' for his new faith jet.

I wish some of the Upper Midwest WOF would have exercised their faith with this Polar Vortex... -29 Degrees and a-58 Degree windchill is a bit tough...

Do it yourself..., wof can't be Centurions and actually do what many claim they can. It's how wofism works:

Claim they have faith to move mountains. Tell us, Jesus healed everyone that came to Him.
Give some testimony about flying in their jet and steering some weather away from them or how they healed someone by their faith.
Tell us that we need that kind of faith like they have.
Then deny us the pleasure of experiencing their great faith and telling us to do what they claim they can do, ourselves.

The whine about the weather cracks me up...guys...Not nice when I'm drinking coffee.

Riddle me this: How would you know if praying believers changed the the weather locally? Hmmm? Do you think any of us would testify here? And what evidence would we show you? Even if we had photographs of the event, and newspaper articles, that would not present incontrovertible evidence.

We pray...things change around us on a subatomic level...what do you know? Prove it.

I know your faith is no greater than any "critic" posting in the forum. I know that we have testified of many things the Lord has done for us..., only to have wof ignore it. I know that most wof have blamed those asking for prayer for lack of faith. Not nice when I'm drinking coffee.

I know that is your claim, and that highlights the absurdity of yours...Can you prove the claim? Empirically? How do you measure faith? Deciliters? Or Imperial?

What does "greater faith" even mean?

                    Really?

I know the critics have testified to WoF excesses...We've not ignored it...Cope has a jet...Phy had experiences that would make me sick...

Experience does not define faith, provide grounds for faith...or prove the righteousness of any claim.

Joe had a dream. Joe spent years enslaved, and imprisoned...Up until he stood at Pharaoh's right hand there was absolutely no evidence that Joe had any faith...except he did. The manifestation of his faith at any time was only two dreams away. "Until the Word of the Lord came to pass, the Word of the Lord tested Joseph." You say, "I believe..." Spend two years in Turkish prison and continue to say it in the Turkish courts. You might end up in the Oval Office. Faith that is not tried is only theory.

I know that most critics will blame most wof...with this nameless accusation. No one here has ever defended the claim. Don't drink coffee and think snide things about WoF adherents at the same time. Your coffee enjoyment is at risk from your own negative thoughts about WoF.
