As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

  • Wof and Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
    Genesis 1:1-‬2 KJV

What does wof teach about the first two verses of the bible?

Shouldnt you be out there playing with fireworks . It would be so much more productive instead of wasting your time here.

Why aren't you? So you're admitting that your posting is a waste of time, right?

Does this response represent the "love" you WoF are so proud of ?

In my WoF church my pastors teach:
          Gen 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
          NKJV

What does your pastor teach about these two verses?

It only confirms his inability to understand scripture and his desire to troll the forum. A perfect post that reveals his hypocrisy.

He just reads the passage with absolutely no teaching with it? That's kind of strange.

I'll ask again: What does your pastor teach about Gen 1:1-2?

Many things, it's been a basis for many bible discussions. Especially from the Hebrew text. But, since you want to deflect and obfuscate a wof opinion, did you note that the OP specifically was about what wof thinks?

Do you have anything to add, or are you going to do this for a bunch of posts.

Well, generally speaking, Gen 1:1-2 teaches who created the universe: It was the Son.

                    Col 1:15-18
15 He [the Son] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
                    NIV

And, as important, was the creation of man, and God delegating authority to him (and by extension, to us) over the earth:
                    Gen 1:26-28
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
                    NIV

Because Jesus came as the Son of Man, we can see by his examples of authority over the natural world, what authority God gave born-again men.

Typical response from an unbeliever... I see that divisiveness is still in your repertoire...
