As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

Why did the god drown Noah's other children and grandchildren (Gen 5:32)?
And why did it drown Noah's grandparents (Gen 5:27)?
And why did it drown Noah's widowed mother (Gen 5:31)?
And why did it drown Noah's aunts & uncles & cousins (Gen 5:26)?
And why did it drown Noah's brothers and sisters (Gen 5:30)?

What's Post 272 got to do with the reason why most of Noah's family were drowned?

You are confused since Noah was 600 years old when the flood was upon the Earth Gen 7:6 AND only the living (born Spiritually) are listed. The people you listed died before the flood.

Cool!!! So no one was drowned since most of Noah's family had already kicked the bucket, and cos that particular flood was only 15 cubits high anyway and didn't even affect a nearby olive tree.

So where does the bible say most of Noah's family had already kicked the bucket before that particular flood occurred, including his grandparents (Gen 5:27) and his widowed mother (Gen 5:31) and his aunts & uncles & cousins (Gen 5:26) and his brothers & sisters (Gen 5:30) and Noah's hundreds of other children and grandchildren (Gen 5:32)? Or is that story just a bit of imaginative fiction?

Noah didn't have children until he was 500 years old. Gen 5:32 Noah was a direct descendant of Adam. His blood had not been contaminated with the blood of the sons of God (prehistoric people). God creates eternal people and Noah was the only "living" person on Adam's world some 800 years after Adam died. The living are the only ones listed in Genesis.

BTW, The olive tree had been on the shore of Lake Van, in the mountains of Ararat, for many, many years BEFORE the Ark arrived. The Raven could have lodged in its branches and not return to the Ark. Amen?

So where does the bible say that Mrs Noah didn't become pregnant with triplets until she was 500 years old? And where does the bible say that most of Noah's family had kicked the bucket before that particular flood and therefore that no one was drowned? Or are you just making that up

Where does the bible say anything about Lake Van, given that the bible says the flood was only 15 cubits high? Or are you just making that up?

Do you see these little blue thingees? Gen 5:32 Click on them and you will find Scriptural support for my view. I use my common sense to realize that Noah didn't have 3 boys by himself. Amen?

Since I support what I write with chapter and verse, I haven't been able to find your view. Everyone on Adam's 1st Earth was drowned except Noah and his family in the Ark.Gen 7:23 Everyone else, like many people on the present Earth, had NOT been born Spiritually by God the Trinity. Scripture lists the living (alive) and does not list unbelievers (dead). Everyone is dead to God who has not been born Spiritually in Christ.

When the flood prevailed upon Adam's small flat Earth, which was only miles in diameter, to a depth of 15 cubits (22.5 feet) the mountains were covered. Gen 7:20 Remember that Adam's entire world (kosmos) was totally destroyed in the flood. 2Pe 3:6 The Greek word "perished" means destroyed, totally and utterly. It's gone. We live today in the 2nd Heaven.

Eleven thousand years ago, Adam's entire firmament/world/universe/Heaven was floating in Lake Van, Turkey in the mountains of Ararat. It's the biggest Lake in Turkey. Remember that God told us the Ark was resting "upon" the mountains of Ararat. Gen 8:4 Adam's firmament was floating upon Lake Van 150 days (5 months after the flood began). When the windows on high were opened, it rained for 40 days and nights and the solid firmament sank into the Lake, and is STILL there. It's empirical, testable, evidence of the literal God. It's miles in diameter and worth its weight in Gold. Amen?

And the bible says that the only people who drowned in that particular flood which was only 15 cubits high were Noah's grand grandparents (Gen 5:27) and his widowed mother (Gen 5:31) and his aunts & uncles & cousins (Gen 5:26) and his brothers & sisters (Gen 5:30) and Noah's hundreds of other children & grandchildren (Gen 5:32).
And the bible says nothing about Turkey or Lake Van, or are you claiming that the level of Lake Van rose 15 cubits and drowned most of Noah's family. But either way, the bible says that Noah didn't go to heaven (John 3:13) nor did Moses & Abraham or any of the other OT characters. Amen.

I'm sorry that God didn't consult you before He wrote His Truth. You are trying to "add to" the information available, thus revealing your inability to discuss God's Truth, which is NOT in Scripture. Try making up another story and see if it agrees in every way with every discovery of mankind. Good Luck
