As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

  • Darwinismus still bogged down in haeckel's superstitions. Fishy gill slits

Haeckel's drawings to affirm his speculations.

A member that has no idea what evolution means.

Haeckels was a dishonest German and it took a long time to remove his false claims from science books.

    His fake drawings.

The so-called gill slits of a human embryo have nothing to do with gills, and the human embryo does not pass through a fish stage or any other evolutionary stage. The development of the human embryo reveals steady progress toward a fully functional human body. Never in the course of development does a human embryo absorb oxygen from water as fish do with gills.

Haeckel: The Legacy of a Lie

his garbage refuted in 1920's and stained textbooks for a century

    https://apologeticspress.org/apconte...=9&article=596

“African Man-like Apes black in colour, and like their countrymen, the Negroes, have the head long from back to front.... The Asiatic Man-like Apes are, on the contrary mostly brown, or yellowish-brown colour, and have the head short from front to back..., like their countrymen, the Malays and the Monogols” (Haeckel, 1876, 2:180-181).

Haeckel himself was an unabashed racist. He urged the German people to seek racial purity by purging the unfit among them, and to increase the superiority of the “Nordic race” by violent competition (i.e., war) with other nations. A few decades later, these ideas found fertile soil in Adolf Hitler’s mind, and were openly expressed in his book Mein Kampf, or in English, “My Struggle” (taken from Haeckel’s translation of Darwin’s phrase, “the struggle for existence”).
( bonus for no extra cost, Nutcase Sigmund Freud also labeled goofy notions of 5 stages of psychosexual development)

    Historians say anything contest.

I have not heard that one. My dear old Ma's version was "all fur coat and no knickers"!
        On the evidence:

If there were no Patriarchs, no Exodus, no conquest of Canaan, no united monarchy under David and Solomon. Can the early biblical Israel described in the books of Moses, Judges, Joshua, and Samuel, ever have existed at all?

Your comrade like you just isn't into science.

The Darweenie mantra labels the embryo a fish

The even more retarded Abortionist movement insists the unborn human baby is not a not yet un born human baby.

Because they're scientifically illiterate, or trolling, or both.

Our junior "science" outsider can't understand why fresh water fishies have electrolytes (big word alert)

Also can't explain how Salmon switch to fresh water and fingerlings switch to salt water.

                      (no they don't have fingers)

Jim Bouton talks of people having a 'alligator mouth and a hummingbird arse", which I've always liked.

So why did you fall for the dishonest mess from Haeckels?

He totally lied, cheated on his drawings to match his fiction.

Your claim is proof that you do not reject sloppy and false historical claims. You are not a scientist or historian.

His mess is still in textbooks.

And science texts note the errors Haeckel made. They also note where he was correct.
