I think I get it! The spiritual celebrations surrounding "pagan" and "Christian" holidays are the same! They are simply two different celebrations of life and love viewed from different perspectives.

      And rightly so.
Without Yule and Saturnalia, the holidays would be boring and dreary.

I like the way God handled Saturnalia -- timing His son's birth right next to it, eclipsing it into obscurity.

Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone [Jesus Christ] was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

The day Farrah Fawcett died, Michael Jackson also died, and Farrah's death was overshadowed by Michael's.

Its ok to like your fantasy. Just don't delude yourself into thinking it to be reality.

Edward 3:45 Thou hacketh absurdly (gosh darnnit) nonsense.

                And?

To save us all from Satan's power when we had gone astray.

                      "This day" = December 25th.

                      Here's a mental exercise:

                      OCT 31 = DEC 25

In what context is this true?
Nah. The 25th of December has nothing whatsoever to do with Jesus, but is when Mithras was born and for booze-ups to celebrate Mithras' birthday and not Jesus' birthday. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mithraism

And the 25th of December is the date of latest sunrise where Santa lives near Oulu in Finland, or in Reykjavik.
