As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

No, it deflects from the topic to a similar but unrelated topic.

No, it's called ignoring the beam in Trump's eye to point out the mote (if that) in AOC's.
The ultimate truth is that there is no ultimate truth.

No, it's called addressing the OP by pointing out the hypocrisy of the OP.

But it doesn't address the OP. It avoids actually dealing with the subject of the OP by pointing out that someone else has done something and they didn't complain about it.

Put it another way. It's like trying to get out of a speeding ticket by saying "But Officer, you are a hypocrite because you didn't stop the 5000 cars that are not me that were going over the speed limit."

AOC's car was not over the speed limit, she made no mention of Rep. Crenshaw's service. Trump was going at three times the limit and did make mention of Sen. McCain's service.

Rep. Crenshaw is not stupid; he will have known that if he was elected then he would get criticism from across the aisle. If he realised that, then what is your problem with it?

Trump didn't pick on him he just said he didn't like people who had been captured. Here's what the left is too stupid to figure out, decent Americans are tired of leftist lame a** whining. AOC isn't trump just like the talking pig in a pantsuit couldn't get a away with calling half of the American citizenry deplorables. Funny how the left only likes the double standard when they benefit from it.

And you know, that sort of actual engagement with the OP would have been worthwhile to add. It actually engages with the OP. Instead, what was it you said in your first post?

No actual engagement with the topic, just pure deflection.

Really, do you think your readers are that stupid? "Trump didn't pick on him"? Trump did pick on Sen. McCain and it is obvious.

You might want to apply for a post in Big Brother's Ministry of Truth.

OK, so you are ignoring the results of the 2018 mid-term elections as well. Seems like par for the course on the US right.

Ultimately it doesn't matter what I think the American people prefer trump to the talking pig in a pant suit so put on your big girl undies and get over it.

Oh I'm not ignoring what I am telling you is trump will win again in a national election. The crop of morons being paraded out by the left is hilarious and it will be fun to watch.

No, the American people did not; Trump lost the popular vote by 63m to 66m. The Electoral College preferred Trump, not the American people.

Oh poor baby. That's how things work. Its not the baseball team with the most hits that wins its the team with the most runs. The founders knew the tyranny of the majority is a bad thing. Your talking pig in a pant suit got more votes but didn't win the right states. The system worked just as designed. You don't like it? Move cuba where they have elections the way you like them.
