As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

This is what initially brought me here. Biblical "facts" or not, the concept that an all powerful being created souls knowing they would live for a blip only to be consciously tormented forever is possibly the most profoundly evil story ever penned by man.
    I want to hear it from your lips;
    What's it worth shining for?

Translation: DO Y'all think there's a temporary HELL, and an Eternal Lake of Fire?

ABSOLUTELY!!!! I personally expect that the LARGER percentage of Humans will wind up there, since they never were "Born Again".

      Next question??

That's organized religion. They don't have to think for themselves and get to feel that they are right.

On the same note, what one person acknowledges as "biblical fact" another simply sees as the written words of other men.

Your opinion is in opposition to the Will of God.

Since you are taking the OPPOSING side of the Will of God, what does that make you?

Mat 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

What great thing have you done, that God should come and Judge now?
When it is God's will that none perish, How are you better then those that the LORD is long suffering toward?

Joh_6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Christ was given the entire world.

Mat_11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

You are AGAINST the Will of God.

True- BUT they have to DELIBERATELY ignore all the facts.
For example- the penalty for rebellion was DEATH, not an ETERNAL LIFE of TORTURE!

Sure, but those words have been proven malleable by the countless Bible based religious sects all believing the same book is absolutely true yet with very different ideas of what that truth actually is.

                  Not 'ideas'; they fabricate.

Are you speaking this about all the other countless sects that believe differently than you?

And, of course YOU ARE TEACHING DOCTRINES THAT ARE NOT BIBLICAL.

Whether your "theology approves it or not there IS a Heaven to GAIN, and a Hell to shun.

I think we waste too much time arguing what "god" might do.

Who in the world would think God burns anyone? My God is Love.
The human side is to claim the promises of God. The divine side is to receive them.

Calling something a fact does not make it a fact.

                            It is written,
"where the smoke from their torment rises up forever and ever"

It is also written, "eternal fire".

There's more on earth and in church(es) believing the false gospel(s) that either doesn't require repentance OR that says <some> god won't convict people righteously as Scripture says is necessary.

Without righteousness and perfect judgement and justice, there would be no atonement nor redemption.

Yahweh is Perfect in Judgment, including burning to death all those in sodom and gomorrah, and all others who He Says in Scripture at the time He Says in Scripture.
