As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings,since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile,select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options,the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

      God says Israel is His fig tree and that tree did not come back to life until May 15,1948 and Israel did not regain it's capital Jerusalem until July 1967 that year the fig tree put on leaves!!! Time is very short!!

        I used to believe that it only meant, the generation after we see the signs of the fig tree beginning to return, so 1948 -2918 would be the generation which is 70 yrs.
        But, now I also believe that Jesus WAS talking about that generation that he was living as well, for the body of Christ, which was beginning to flourish,is the fig tree as the new temple of Jew and Gentiles coming together in one body of Christ, being restored by the Spirit, could not be raised up as long as the old temple was standing, so God destroyed it in 70ad., That same generation that Jesus lived.

        Just as there are two accounts of Jesus' body being born and raised up. One was his natural birth to Mary who then died and was raised up, and then one which is the birth of the body of Christ, the Man Child(children of God) of Isaiah 66:7 and Rev.12:5. that are dying with Christ in the daily fleshly sacrifices, to be raised up to rule and reign with their Head.

        Heb 9:5-8
        5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

        6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

        7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

        8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
        KJV

        Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
        12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
        13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
        14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
        15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
        16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
        17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
        18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
        19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
        20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
        21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
        22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
        KJV

        The purpose of my posts are not to cause bicker or division, but to show truth from the scripture for edifying of the soul. It does not matter what we think, it is what God's Word says that matters.

            Not til the beast comes to power & the Jews build their new temple. That MAY be a short time, or it MAY yet be a long time. Remember the "thousand years is as a day" concept. However, when the "beast" comes to power, there'll be only 7 years left, at the most.

            And remember, "the end" for each of us is no farther than THE NEXT HEARTBEAT!

                No, Jesus limited the generation to the people He was talking to. The "Punishment" for murdering Jesus began the day He was nailed to the cross and the Old Law was fulfilled. A generation isn't the Church either as Tribulation claims. That makes no more sense than the dispensationalist third temple and all the nonsense that goes with the false doctrine.

                Jesus pointed to specific buildings and stones and said not one would be left on another. Jesus answered three questions and answered two of them directly and said that generation would not pass away until all those things were fulfilled. The question of when He returns and He answered that question by telling them No one knows the day when Heaven and earth will pass away, only God the Father knows.

                The tribulation, the temple destruction, the persecution of the Church, all of that was fulfilled in that generation. Denying those facts is why antichrist doctrines are popular in the Pentecostal and dispensational Darby movements because another man made temple is required, John had to be mistaken about the antichrist already in the world and the Roman Empire Must be miraculously resurrected among other feats that are not going to occur because Jesus came and fulfilled those things.

                Jesus body is The Temple of God. His Kingdom is here and the keys that open and close the gates were given to His Apostles and they gave those keys to use. We either believe in them and use them or not.

                    No, the fig tree generation and signs have nothing to do with us.

                        No the disciples didn't see the end of the world. Everyone will see that and there won't be a sign for it either.

                        The generation that saw the signs Jesus was talking about in Matthew 24 saw those signs. They saw the temple destroyed, they were persecuted and killed and put in prison. They saw the Kingdom of God come with power, they were dragged into the synagogues and the Holy Spirit told them what to say, ALL just as Jesus said they would.

                        But antichrist doctrines deny all of that.

                            I believe I'm the only one on this board who HAS actually read Matthew 24. The rest on here listen to Jack Van Impe and his ilk to tell them what it says.
