After one is completely sanctified Christ returns for him. It is that simple. This does not negate both resurrections and the rapture.

The house of God is judged first or there is no Jesus returning for them!

Yes, and when is that going to happen. This op's poster constantly tells us it is going to happen because they latest newscast is a sign. Endless signs; no return. The matter is worsened by questioning readers' faith because if you're not looking then you're not going to be raptured. Rule 29 says:

No link or even naming of other websites/forums/blogs for promotion at all. May use links of websites recommended/approved by CARM for reference to topic.
You read it with your own eyes: "...look for the rapture and the battle of Armageddon in 2018." Neither the rapture nor Armageddon occurred in 2018. There are less than 65 days remaining in 2019. Of course the cop out will be he only said to look for it; he didn't say it would actually happen. Van Impe is in his late 80s; he will soon die without seeing Christ's return and no longer be accountable to the church here on earth for having taught falsely. The op and its sources prove false.

The saddest concern is that GISMYS is a young man and may lose his faith because that upon which he has pinned so much will turn out to have been false teaching. All the criticisms of the CARM dissent will prove true and in shame there will be no place to hide, even though none of us here desire any of it for him.

Much of the teachings on the rapture are in ignorance and not sound scripturally. Also the teachings that one either goes to heaven or hell when they die is not scriptural as well!

No, that's not exactly true, GISMYS. You choose to believe van Impe, Begley, Taylor, and Lindsay, even though they have never been correct. You do not ignore those little men's ideas.

Besides, the dichotomy between God's word and men of faith is a false one. No one is asking for belief in anyone who teaches contrary to the scriptures, which is what is already happening.

The likelihood of a change of mind is small no matter how exegetically sound a case I post, right? So why ask disingenuous questions insincerely? The allegiance to what van Impe teaches is greater than the allegiance to what those from other positions teach.

Except that isn't what the text actually states at all. First you are on record believing the ideas of little men while claiming not to do so, and now you're on record claiming to believe the Word of God while blatantly adding words into verses. You think "return" means "catch up." Despite the fact the author of Hebrews was telling his first century audience to be ready you think he was mistaken and those words had ne bearing on that original audience but instead applies to a group of people 20+ centuries later. This is not evidence of belief in God's word.

I sort of see this as part of the process.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
