As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

  • Who are the Tares? The Explanation

This is the explanation the Lord gave in Matthew 13.
Who are the tares? The children of the evil one.
36 Then He left the crowds and went into the house. %tAnd His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the [t]tares of the field.” 37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the [u]end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40 So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the [v]end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom [w]all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, [x]let him hear.

    More "serpent Seed foolishness"!!!

"Tares" are RELIGIOUS Non-Christians mixed into the VIsible Church. Maybe including some homicidal Garden Gnomes for good measure.

You quoted my post of the explanation of the wheat and the tares parable, and characterized the word of God as "serpent Seed foolishness".

I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and I believe the word of God.

The Lord Jesus made this very clear.
"and the tares are the sons of the evil one;"

That means the tares are Satan's sons (or children).

Well since you know what the tares are why are you starting this thread? It is clear that the wheat, God's people, and the tares, satans people grow up together and then in the end Jesus Himself separates them from each other, and burns up the tares in the lake of fire and grants the wheat the gift of eternal life to live with Him in heaven for 1000 years and then to live on the recreated earth for ever.

The WEEDS are Words planted in the BIBLE by the servants of Satan . Those that feed on these WEEDS / TARES Exo e the children of Satan ! Very simple!
But you need to READ Matt 13: from verse ONE and NOT from verse 36 !!!!!!!!!!

Now , your question to me should be :- .. POINT OUT some WEEDS / Tares in the BIBLE.

Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of ALL mankind. Ecc 12: 13

IF we were all created first before the creation of the physical universe which we all saw Job 38:7, then our spirits being placed into human bodies is a very accurate definition of sowing.

This sounds plausible except that the verse speaks plainly about our spirits being sowing "into the world"
the field is the world: Strong's G2889. kosmos
            Original Word: κόσμος, ου, ὁ
Usage: the world, universe; worldly affairs; the inhabitants of the world; adornment.
and Kosmos, the world is never used to point to the Church.

You are forced to put a new meaning upon the word world so it references the church because otherwise this verse destroys your other belief that we are created in this world at conception or birth because then the devil sows / creates people also. You rightly reject "serpent Seed foolishness" but this verse ties your 'created on earth' bias into knots that cannot be untangled without doing damage to the meanings of the words.

            I champion GOD’s holiness:
            - GOD did not need evil so did not create evil for any reason.
            - Evil is creature-created by their free will.

            I champion Our Free will:
            - All were created with a free will able to chose for HIM or against HIM.

The point is "How are we, the spirits of the good seed and the tares, created?" IF we are created on earth either at conception (traducianism) or at birth (creationism of the soul) then to believe that the devil sows some people into the world must mean he has the power of creation which is abject foolishness. So if we are NOT created here what does sowing mean? The meaning of the verb to sow means to take seed from a place of storage and to scatter it in a place of growth, ie we were brought here from somewhere else and left here to grow together.

This is precisely what the proponents of the belief that all people were created in HIS image BEFORE the creation of the physical universe which we saw, Job 38:7 and Rom 1:20, and some who sinned were later moved from the spirit world to the earth by the Son of Man and the devil, moved, not created here. This belief is called Pre-Conception Existence theology, ie, PCE, or pre-existence for short though this is a misnomer.

Nope - this EXPLANATION V36 of the parable is without any hyperbole or metaphor or unexplained obscure allusions and it clearly says the field is the world, not the Bible and the seeds are people; the people of the kingdom and the people of the evil one, NOT words.

Then try another explanation of what this verse means without your past mistakes. My interpretation has at least has all the moving parts in the right place and chugging along at a face value reading of the explanation.

                      I agree 110%

The parable explains itself, the field is the world, the wheat are the righteous saved, the tares/weeds are the wicked, Jesus burns the tares/weeds in his second advent as Luke 17:29-30 below clearly identifies.

                      Luke 17:29-30AKJV
29 but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

No place in Matthew Chapter 13 wheat/stares parable does it mention 1,000 years in heaven, that's a whole bunch of Greg adding to the scripture.

The tares/wicked are judged by the fire, the righteous pass through the fire to the eternal kingdom, no human flesh goes beyond the last day fire, all men's works will be tried by the Lord's fire at his appearing, at this time the eternal, immortal, body will be obtained by the righteous.

13 every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of personsought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Already did. The "Tares" are "religious", but NOT BORN AGAIN humans who take their place in the congregations of the visible churches, sometimes in places of authority, and LOOK, and TALK like "Christians", but are spiritually DEAD, LOST, and hellbound.

ALL HUMAN BEINGS are "satan's children", from the day that they SIN and fall short of God's glory, until / IF they are born again by FAITH in the perfect SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the Cross.

Jesus gives a clear and plain explanation.

The tares are the children of the wicked one, Satan

All the wicked in the world, including the wolves in sheep's clothing inside churches.

                              37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
                              38 the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
