The Holy Bible has sustained generations for over 500 years, but beginning in 1825 false teachers crept into Churches, unawares, spreading Satan's seeds of lies to sew doubt on God's promise to preserve His words for all generations!

Then after a period of time, perverted Bible translations began to surface, as certain men took it upon themselves to change the words of God, even despite the warning given by God in the Bible per the consequences that will befall upon those that add to or take away from His Holy Words! The alterations made by these evil men have not only adversely affected people's abilty to read, learn and understand all that is entailed in the Bible, such as the Gospel of Salvation, End Times Prophecy, and so forth, but they have change it so much that it has become unrecognizable.

Your unproven allegation or assertion clearly displays the use of unscriptural, unjust measures, which are an abomination of the LORD. Use of double standards is on display in your human non-scriptural KJV-only reasoning.

The Church of England makers of the KJV took it upon themselves to change the words of God in the pre-1611 English Bibles. They omitted around 400 words including three whole verses found in the 1540 edition of the Great Bible. They omitted a good number of words, phrases, and clauses found in the Bishops' Bible of which the KJV was officially a revision. They added words, phrases, or clauses and three verses to some of the pre-1611 English Bibles of which the KJV is a revision. They borrowed some renderings from the 1582 Roman Catholic Rheims New Testament in making their many changes to the pre-1611 English Bibles.

The KJV translators clearly acknowledged that they added many words in their 1611 KJV for which they had no original-language words of Scripture in their underlying texts.
In their marginal notes in the 1611, the KJV translators also acknowledged that they provided no English word for some original-language words of Scripture in the texts from which they translated. Therefore, it is clear that KJV-only advocates do not apply the warnings given by God about adding to or taking away from His holy words consistently and justly.

Later Church of England editors added around 150 words not found in the 1611 edition of the KJV.

The Greek word spoudazo was translated the following ways by the KJV translators: endeavour (Eph. 4:3, 1 Thess. 2:17, 2 Pet. 1:15), do diligence (2 Tim. 4:9, 21), be diligent (Titus 3:12, 2 Pet. 3:14), give diligence (2 Pet. 1:10), be forward (Gal. 2:10), labour (Heb. 4:11), and study (2 Tim. 2:15).

It is interesting that KJV-only advocates condemn the translation of this word as "be diligent" at 2 Timothy 2:15 in some translations when the KJV translators often accurately translated this Greek word in this same way or in a similar manner. Is this another clear example of the KJV-only use of unjust measures [double standards]?

Even KJV-only advocate David Cloud gives the meaning of "study" in this verse as "to give diligence to" (Way of Life Encyclopedia, p. 425; Concise KJB Dictionary, p. 84). D. A. Waite's Defined KJB gave the following note or definition for "study" at 2 Timothy 2:15: "Gk be diligent" (p. 1579). The 1755 Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language as well as the 1828 Webster's Dictionary gave as one meaning of the verb study: "to endeavour diligently."

Kent Rabe claimed that the Spanish Reina-Valera has "procure with diligence" at 2 Timothy 2:15 (Double Exposure, p. 29). A reprint of the 1602 Spanish Bible began 2 Timothy 2:15 as follows: “Procura con diligencia.“ The 1657 English translation of the authorized Dutch Bible began the text of 2 Timothy 2:15 as follows: "Give diligence."

I have at least five 1611 editions of the KJV.
Do you have one and have you compared it to the present varying post-1900 editions of the KJV so that you are aware of the actual additions, omissions, and changes made to it?

I believe in using full context of Scripture. Some people might would mis-perceive passages from The holy Bible as "spam", but I am convinced that full context is neccessary when being challenge in such a way as by this. Edit insult.

The first passage comes from Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Church at Ephesus, in which, he, by inspiration of The Holy Spirit, gives Children of Lord Jesus Christ the following instruction: This is what I believe:

Eph 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Eph 5:3 But
fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,let it not be once namedamong you, as becometh saints;

Eph 5:4 Neither
filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no
whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with
them.

Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth

Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with
the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Eph 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly,
not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not
unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

In the next passage from Apostle Paul's letter to Timothy, he gives sober warning concerning false teachers, along with further instruction as to the importance of the Scriptures: 2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

2Ti 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

2Ti 3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

This is another passage from the Epistle that Apostle Paul wrote by inspiration of The Holy Spirit to the Church at Ephesus: I believe EVERY WRITTEN WORD, including and highlighting verse 17 as the Sword of The Spirit is The Holy Bible!

Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise

Eph 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Eph 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Eph 6:6
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Eph 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord,
and not to men:

Eph 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Eph 6:9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in
the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and
the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Eph 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Eph 6:21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

Eph 6:22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

Eph 6:23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

A lot of people, claiming to be "Christian Apologists" and/or "Bible Translation Experts" like to "talk" about the Bible, but questions must be raised to ask, such as, "Do they understand what is written in The Holy Bible? and Can they rightly divide the Word of God?" Do these people even understand, or can explain and demonstrate what it means to "rightly divide the word of truth"?

I see quite a bit of improvement in its understandability to MODERN English users. First off, they eliminate the archaic use of "study" & "shew". The NIV and NASV present it the most-clearly, according to the Greek sources.

We don't use Jacobean English any more.

Jaeger, the KJVO myth is not found in Scripture whatsoever, even in the KJV itself. Therefore, BY WHAT AUTHORITY do you believe it?

Without Scriptural support, it cannot be true!

Your posts show that you do not practice what you preach.

You have not demonstrated that you soundly understand what is written in the Holy Bible as it relates and is applied justly to Bible translations and that you can rightly divide the word of God since you continue to disobey the Scriptures by making false and unproven allegations and continue to show that you use unscriptural, unjust measures/standards.

That question should be asked of people who believe in KJVOism which is not supported by scripture
