As most of you are aware, we had a crash to forums and were down for over two days a while back. We did have to do an upgrade to the vbulletin software to fix the forums and that has created changes, VB no longer provide the hybrid or threaded forums. There are some issues/changes to the forums we are not able to fix or change. Also note the link address change, please let friends and posters know of the changed link to the forums. For now this is the only link available, https://forums.carm.org/vb5/ but if clicking on forum on carm.org homepage it will now send you to this link. (edited to add https: now working.

Again, we are working through some of the posting and viewing issues to learn how to post with the changes, you will have to check and test the different features, icons that have changed. You may also want to go to profile settings, since many of the notifications, information in profile, also to update/edit your avatar by clicking on avatar space, pull down arrow next to login for user settings.

Edit to add "How to read forums, to make it easier."
Pull down arrow next to login name upper right select profile, or user settings when page opens to profile, select link in tab that says Account. Then select/choose options, go down to Conversation Detail Options, Select Display mode Posts, NOT Activity, that selection of Posts will make the pages of discussions go to last post on last page rather than out of order that happens if you choose activity threads. Then be sure to go to bottom and select SAVE Changes in your profile options. You can then follow discussions by going through the pages, to the last page having latest responses. Then click on the other links Privacy, Notifications, to select viewing options, the forums get easier if you open all the tabs or links in your profile, user settings and select options. To join Super Member, pull down arrow next to login name, select User Settings and then click on tab/link at top that says Subscriptions.

Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

Only born-again believers looking for the return of Jesus will be raptured. Believers are not appointed to the wrath(great tribulation judgments on this evil world) We will be raptured (caught up) 1 Thess. 4:13-18

That did not answer the question gismys? The Apostle John is addressing born again believers, in fact he even uses the word "children" at 1 John 2:18. So why is he telling these believers that to expect the antichrist (singular) if believers are going to be raputred (according to you guys) before he comes? And here is something else to think about since you brought up 1 Thessalonians. Look at 2 Thessalonians 1:5-8. And btw, I am well familar with Jack and Hal from the late 1960's and I too read their books and went along with the "rapture" crowd. However, I decided to search out things to see if those things are true according to Acts 17:11.

2 Thesssalonians 1:5-8, "This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgement so that you may be considered worhthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeeed you are suffering. vs6, Foir after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflicted you, vs7 (AND) pay attention to give "REST/RELIEF to you as well WHEN (So when do we get rest or relief?) when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, vs8, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus." That is "when" gismys.

And to further back up these verses please read chapter 2 and note that it will not come (the tribulation) until the lawlessnbess is revealed, the son of destruction (vs3). Read through to vs12. Were going to be here when the antichrist is here unless we are taken to glory before these events. You can quote all the verses you want and I have a Biblical answer for your objections that were going to be raptured before the great tribulation. Trust me, I don't want to be here when antichirst is here but those are the facts.

After the rapture, there will be millions of people that will see their great mistake and become believers even though they know it may well cost them their life and they must try to stay alive under anti-christ rule and great tribulation judgments!!===No fun!!

The Bible is the Manifestation of God Himself to all Creation!!
                  John 1:1-51
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
                  2
The same was in the beginning with God.
                  3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
                  4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
                  5
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
                  John 1:10-14
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,

The Bible reminds us that millions will be saved during the Tribulation hour. Revelation 7:14 says,

They will be going through the seven years of Tribulation, which the body of Christ, the Church, escapes via the Rapture (Revelation 4:1). On the other hand, 144,000 Jewish evangelists will proclaim the message of the coming Kingdom, and millions of Jewish and Gentile converts will somehow survive, though rejecting the mark of the beast.

So just as Nebuchadnezzar ordered the furnace be made seven times hotter for the three Hebrew children, so the seven-year period of Tribulation will be a hot, volatile period in which millions of God’s newly born-again children will be placed in the fire of an anti-God atmosphere. But I repeat-multitudes of Jews and Christians will somehow miraculously survive, though rejecting the mark of the beast (Daniel 12:1; Matthew 25:31-34). Why not be caught up on rapture day and miss all that "fun"??

Still can't address my questions? Instead you throw out Revelation 4:1 by "assuming" a phantom rapture making void Hebrews 9:28 and Revelation 20:5. Hebrews 9:28, "so Chriust also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall APPEAR A SECOND TIME FOR SALVATION/DELIVERANCE WITHOUT reference to sin, to those who eargerly await Him." And Revelation 20:5, "The rest of the dead did NOT come to life until the thousand years were completed, THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION."

So gismys, where or when does the rapture take place. Keep in mind that at Revelation 20 the time frame is the tribulation period, so again where are you and your guys going to "insert" the rapture of the Church? There are not "two" comings of Jesus Christ for His Church as proven by the verses I just gave you. I suggest you take the time and study out these things for yourself by being a good "Berean" according to Acts 17:11.

                        IN GOD THE SON,

Canon posts are off topic in this forum.

Carry on the slander that I hate the word of God.

That was posted the 25th, today is the 28th. Looks like you're wrong again, GISMYS. The wasn't a rapture on the 25th. Have you been waiting on your roof for your lying god who keeps telling you today's the day, and then nothing happens?

Last days mockers and scoffers====In the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as
                                they were
from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day
                                is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
