Trump is calling on his supporters to protest if he is arrested, similar to the way he encouraged his followers to protest on January 6th, which has thus far resulted in at least 1,003 arrests and 601 convictions:

"Illegal leaks from a corrupt & highly political Manhattan district attorney's office ... indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven ... the far & away leading Republican candidate & former president of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take our nation back!" - Donald Trump

As an aside: on Thursday federal prosecutors revealed that they expect an additional 700 to 1,000 people to be arrested and charged in relation to the January 6th insurrection.

Well, it looks like an indictment is coming. I don't know if that means he will be arrested, or just directed to appear in court.

This action is past due. Michael Cohen was found guilty of the same charge years ago and sentenced to 3 years in prison. The court documents in that case repeatedly referred to the involvement of "Individual One" who was clearly Trump. there is also a recorded conversation between the two of them discussing the details of this payment. Seems like a slam-dunk case.

Given that the indictment will come down in NYC where Trump's support is minimal, any demonstrators who show up will more likely be there to celebrate.

I know this is about Trump....but those under the spell of CNN keep bringing up Jan 6th....something that Tucker brought to rest when he showed the peaceful gathering in the capitol.
The arrest and convictions should be overturned immediately.

Trump is a horrible person who seems to generate a near psychosis in his opponents. Can't say I have much stomach for either side, although I have a good deal of sympathy for many of Trump's ideas and policies, and I think the public discourse around him has been unbelievably toxic.

According to DOJ Garland, he displayed his hatred toward The SCOTUS by doing nothing with violent threats at the homes of supreme Court Justices. The protests violated a specific law against trying to influence judges.

So video of some people being peaceful cancels video of people committing crimes?

I think it's funny that Trump wants people to protest for him.He should just go and turn himself in like any normal adult,then beat it in court which is what is going to happen.No need to involve anyone else .But this is Trump.
