Is this how Mormons bring people to Christ?


Mormon 11th Article of Faith:
The eleventh article of faith reads, “We claim the privilege of worshipping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.”

I thought they said the purpose was to bring people to Christ. Article 11 sounds like they don't care what people worship. Some of my relatives told people to knock on wood!

To tell you the truth, this missionary stuff young Mormon kids do is simply a rite of passage. If they manage to trick somebody into getting baptized, why all the better. It's like a stint in the military - in Utah it adds to their qualifications for a good job. The good thing is that some do encounter Christians who explain to them that they are in a false religion which is not Christian. Many have been brought to the real Christ in these encounters.
