I have been reading through the thread "Did Jesus bear Gods wrath and was He forsaken ?" and it is so clear how desperately Arminians cling onto self glorification! It is their faith that saved them!
In every response they commend themselves for having the faith to choose team Jesus, yet not one of them will dare say how they "came by/generated/developed that faith.
Not one of them can give any reason as to why or even how they got the faith, while others don't get it when the same gospel is preached to all and the same scriptures are available to all.
What sets Arminians apart from the Atheists? What is it about them that caused them to "have" this faith that saves them and why do atheists just not get it as they do?
Some might try and argue and say "Well, Atheist hate the light and do not come to the light because their wicked deeds will be exposed"
So what is it exactly within Arminians that make them see the light, and accept the light, and come to the light and have their wicked deeds exposed!
Can an Arminian explain to me what sets them apart from the atheist, who has the exact same information they have, yet not the faith they have?
It is easy for me to say that God granted me faith, by His grace when he opened my mind to understand the gospel when it was preached to me.
Soli Deo Gloria!
