The government in general spies on all internal dissent. Thats how Ive always known we are actually not free. It just makes people feel good, when they say we are free....Try to go against the establishment and you will see the real truth as we are witnessing in Canada.....

Seems to me that a major outage in Canadian banks would at least be mentioned, especially if it were linked to the trucker revolt.

OTOH, if the outage was a temporary computer glitch, then it is not a big story.

I have always found links to primary sources like court decisions, texts of speeches, legislative bills, videos of events, etc.
I regularly see corrections, even as minor as misspellings.
And yes, reporters have been fired for making up stuff.

Are you thinking of some specific incident?

I think we're just misinterpreting their standard. Their standard is we will believe, promote and affirm anything that helps us politically and do the opposite with anything that works against us politically. Under that standard everything they do is completely consistent. But of course under that standard everything they do is also completely immoral.

You are in denial about the nature of what the legacy press has become. Nothing is a story if it does not move their political agenda and it's certainly not a story if it runs counter to their political agenda or proves that their political agenda is collapsing.
