Lev. 5:7 ¶ “But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD as his compensation for the sin that he has committed two turtledoves or two pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.
Lev. 5:8 He shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer first the one for the sin offering. He shall wring its head from its neck but shall not sever it completely,
Lev. 5:9 and he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, while the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar; it is a sin offering.
Lev. 5:10 Then he shall offer the second for a burnt offering according to the rule. And the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin that he has committed, and he shall be forgiven.
Lev. 5:11 ¶ “But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two pigeons, then he shall bring as his offering for the sin that he has committed a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it and shall put no frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.
Lev. 5:12 And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take a handful of it as its memorial portion and burn this on the altar, on the LORD’S food offerings; it is a sin offering.
Lev. 5:13 Thus the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed in any one of these things, and he shall be forgiven. And the remainder shall be for the priest, as in the grain offering.”

The poorest of the poor offers grain

It is sufficient for Atonement and forgiveness

What would PSA suggest?

The grain be retributively punished until wrath be exhausted

The way I'm reading it the priest takes a handful of it and burns it and the sins are forgiven. The rest of it they eat. I don't see any wrath there at all. Unless perhaps the got stomach cramps or constipation.

I think the point of the poorest of the poor was they were offering what they had. The same with God he offered the best he had which was himself for the sacrifice.

Because God had the high priest take a bunch of Cheerios in to to sprinkle on the mercy seat?

Maybe he added a little milk to go with it.

And when will you acknowledge fire stands for wrath, why do you think they burned these things? What do you want them to do, have the priest stomp on them and beat them with clubs?

This was for people who couldn't afford a sacrifice.

How is Christ going to suffer to put away sins, if he is not going to suffer the just penalty FOR sins?

He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (Heb 9:26 NKJ)

Please pray seriously about this doctrine, the devil is robbing the meaning and power of the atonement right from under people's noses because they don't want Christ to suffer what their sins deserve.

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. (Heb 9:27-28 NKJ)

God makes a ONE to ONE correlation between the judgment men get for sin, and Christ being offered to bear those people's sins.

Nope No wrath No retributive punishment just a sacrifice
