Yup - smallpox is estimated at 300-500 million.I suspect the Native Americans who died from smalllpox would beg to differ.
I worked for a company that built punch presses, and they built a factory in Columbus, Ohio. But when they went to dig the assembly pit, they found that their property was a mass grave site from the smallpox epidemic in central Ohio - no caskets or markers, just thousands of corpses piled in, and covered over. The State told us that they wouldn't do anything, so all the remains just went to a landfill - except that one the custodians in the company collected skulls, and kept them in his basement. To each his own -
