Western political analysts have tried to prevent the rise of a rival power in an integrated Eurasia for generations, since Halford MacKinder outlined his heartland theory in 1904. Well, Ukraine was a nice last try, but it failed.
The idea that the US or more broadly "the West" is going to take on China next is simply laughable. I'd call the US a paper tiger but I'm not sure it can even manufacture its own paper any more.
