Try telling that to a parent who has lost a child, or had one get extremely sick, due to covid.
Appeal to emotion doesn't negate facts.
The majority of children have a survival rate of 99.98%....most children that died
with covid had severe co morbidities.
Or to the young man who got covid at a concert in Florida, who, though perfectly healthy, came down with severe covid, which destroyed his lungs, so that he had to get a double lung transplant last June. It was in the AJC newspaper several times last year what happened to this poor young man. When he got covid, his age group was not yet eligible for the vaccine.
Tell that to the parents of the children that dropped dead from heart failure from the vaccine.
See, appeal to emotion works both ways.
One percent death rate sounds miniscule--until it happens to one of our loved ones.
Doesn't negate the fact that the survival rate is over 99% for most.
One percent death of roughly 60 million who have been infected with covid in this country is 600,000 deaths--not exactly miniscule amount, is it?
Except dying
with covid and from covid are worlds apart....and they are finally starting to admit this.
There is nothing wrong with wearing good masks properly, and social distancing, to help prevent catching and spreading covid.
Other than they are nothing more than emotional support for those wearing them.
BTW, there are probably more people with natural immunity out there who are much more protected than anyone with a clot shot.
Now they finally had to admit that natural immunity was far superior to vaccines during the "delta" wave....something all the 'conspiracy theorist' have said all along....proven right yet again.
I have no doubt the same will be said for this one, which seems to be nothing more than a glorified cold for most. My 83 year old father has it. He had sore throat for and a fever for 2 days.
Wrong. There are many people that CAN'T wear them. People want to wear them, fine, wear them....if not, don't.
We still go to church, but sit at the back, by ourselves, while still wearing our N95 masks, except removing them temporarily, to receive Holy Communion. Our minister always wears a mask and disposable gloves, when he distributes the Elements, and changes gloves in-between families while he does so. The elder who assists him also wears a mask when doing so. Have they been brainwashed? Did "Satan win" because they wore masks and the pastor also gloves, during Communion? (A rightist on here months ago once stated that if we wear a mask, it means that "Satan won"--on of the most...preposterous things I have ever read on here.)
In a way, that poster is correct....mask wearing is done out of fear. Fear is not of God.
You can thank the MSM for pushing the fear porn. Most that have died from covid have 4 or more co morbidities, per the CDC director.
The MSM has convinced everyone that covid is a death sentence and most stopped living their lives and live in perpetual fear of a virus they would probably survive.
As Christians, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves, and focusing only on our individual liberties during this pandemic while ignoring the welfare of others is, in my opinion, selfish and unchristian.
You assume because someone chooses not to wear a face diaper knowing it's uselesss, or live their lives in fear of a virus, is ignoring the welfare of others and is selfish.
Maybe it's pretty selfish of others to expect
everyone to mask up and call them selfish and unchristian because of
their irrational fear of a virus.
