So to merely provide the opputunity then, not actually save. Except the Bible says "He will save His people from their sins". John 3:16 says God sent His Son to save believers, present tense, not merely to make it available.Reformedguy does not read and just ignores everything
What part of so they can believe escapes your grasp
and thus be saved
John 20:31 (NASB 2020) — 31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing you may have life in His name.
bottomline
You still ignore the evidence
nowhere is it stated the heart has been replaced so you may believe the gospel
Unbelievers do not receive the spirit
John 14:16–17 (NASB 2020) — 16 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever; 17 the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.
Reformedguy also ignores this
Men are regenerated through faith in the gospel
James 1:18 (ESV) — 18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
1 Peter 1:18–23 (ESV) — 18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you 21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
unbelief does not profit
Hebrews 4:2 (KJV 1900) — 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
reformedguy ignores this also
Further all heavenly blessing are in Christ and one is not in Christ until he believes Heb 1:3; 13
yet more scripture reformedguy ignores
to be noted Ezek 36 says nothing about believing the gospel
reformedguy just inserts it and ignoring all scripture contrary to his view
Believing is a command. 1 John 3:23. Whoopsie. So read Ezek. 36 again.
