holiness refers to the founder, not the members... got it?Yep your institution does not have the marks for a start it is far from holy. If it was holy its leaders would not lie, cover up evil etc.

Let me see:yes, and you cannot even give us your supporting verse!
No you are saying it is a mark of the institution, it is not a mark of the founder. Though the bad fruit gives us a clue as to who founded your institution and it is NOt Jesus.holiness refers to the founder, not the members... got it?
Still waiting for your proof ?️ ??There is a colony of highly intelligent invisible pumpkins on the dark side of the moon planning to attack planet earth in 2024.
If you claim they do not exist, I will need proof.
Really you demand from others what you never provide yourself? LOL. You make inane comments on a regular basis as well thinking you are funny. Wait.Still waiting for your proof ?️ ??

post # 2035Let me see:
Which verse? I have posted so many verses in these threads.
But this is the only test your institution passes:
Matt 7
17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Yep you institution has produced a lot of bad fruit.
the mark of the founder of the institution.
it is a divine institurion filled with the holy spirit, providing her the means to help make holy the sinners who are found in her ranks.
“Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the Church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish” (Eph. 5:25-27).
That is the myth you tell yourself to justify the fact that your institution is not what it claims to be and does not have the right marks. But it does have the marks of its real founder, it is filthy, it is full of sexual immorality, it lies and is not truthful, it teaches false doctrines.the mark of the founder of the institution.

Oh you mean the reply that shows you do not read scripture or maybe you just don't understand it.post # 2035
that vs is about believers in Christ - not others /catholics.ramcam2 said:

It is the Holy Catholic Church that is the Body of Christ. Thus, being the Body of Christ the Church is Holy as Christ is Holy.No you are saying it is a mark of the institution, it is not a mark of the founder. You and your friends have failed to prove that Jesus founded your institution. To be the body of Christ it must pass the scriptural test and it must look like the body in scripture. It doesn't meet the criteria for being the body of Christ, so the claim that it is the body of Christ is false. Therefore the claim it is holy, is also false. It is the Holy Catholic Church that is the Body of Christ. Thus, being the Body of Christ the Church is Holy as Christ is Holy.

So, you've never read Scripture? Did he start tens of thousands competing half true churches or One Church? Maybe Christ started One Church for each believer because He knew they would worship a book in the ensuing 1,500 years. Many Churches yet one body? You and your friends have failed to prove that Jesus founded your institution. There is nothing to self identify with. Only One Church was consecrated by Christ, not churches. The only Church that Christ created was The Way, which became the Catholic Church. How many Christ(s) are there? One for this church, another for that one.Self identifying as Christ's body will never make it so.
In one way it is indeed self described, in another it is the Holy Spirits description. Scripture was written by the Apostles for the authority of the Church, they described themselves as "the Body of Christ". However, they were inspired by the Holy Spirit to describe themselves this way.But the self deception of confirmation bias is all Catholics have.

No it is you who has never read scripture. The real church is made up of real believers no matter what denomination. I know RCs tend to just read parts of the bible that suit them and then they give it the RC twist. But Jesus never established a bad tree and your institution is exactly that, the bad tree. So, you've never read Scripture? Did he start tens of thousands competing half true churches or One Church? Oh but I don't - it might seem that way to you because the One True Church is not just another one of those unholy churces. Then why do you go right ahead and do just that in the very next breath? (your comments below)
That's because unlike your church it is not the figment of my imagination, it Christ's work we call "Church", His Body.Your church doesn't just happen to be the church Christ created because that is what you want to be so.
But that's your self identifying confirmation bias routine.
Yep but your institution has shown throughout the centuries that it is an unholy church. It is a total figment of your imagination that Jesus started such a foul institution whose fruit's bad smell reaches into the heavens.Oh but I don't - it might seem that way to you because the One True Church is not just another one of those unholy churces.
