Where?
Why do you keep asking me stupid questions when you and I both know that you have ZERO interest in the answers?
I'm not interested in wasting my time with your stupid games.
And if they did, then Jesus was wrong when he said his Father is "the only true God."
No, Jesus was not wrong.
There is only one God.
And the Father is that one God.
Thta doesn't present any problems for the Biblical Trinity.
No I don't.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
Trinitarians read their theology INTO the Bible.
Nope.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
Because if the Trinity is false, then the entire Bible must be false, and worthy only for the trash.
Fortunately, I don't believe that.
I believe the Bible.
And because I believe the Bible, I believe the Trinity.
Why are you so threatened by that?
No. Why do you believe God is a Trinity?
<sigh>
Because it's what the Bible teaches.
I am well aware of the teaching of the Trinity. What I am not aware of is where it is taught in the Bible.
Well, that's your problem,, not mine.
If you're this obsessed about it, as I said you can to go the Trinity forum and ask all the questions you want, and if someone wants to waste their time with your stupid games, they are perfectly free to do so.
You could also read James White's "The Forgotten Trinity" if you were truly interested in learning (and we both know you're not), but we both know you won't do that, since you can't argue with a book.
But if you don't believe in the Trinity, then nobody's forcing you to.
I don't know why you wish to create a pointless argument when nobody's forcing you to believe anything you don't want to believe.
I'm quite familiar with most of the Trinitarian proof-texts, but Trinitarians understand them the way they do because of their belief that God is a Trinity.
No, that's false.
That's simply your worthless rationalization to reject God's word.
The "deity of Jesus" isn't actually taught in any of those verses.
Well, since you are clearly wrong, we will have to agree to disagree.
Because if they don't teach the deity of Jesus, then NONE of the Bible can be trusted.
Again, Trinitarians "see" it there because they were taught that God is a Trinity, then shown verses that "support" it.
Wrong again.
I love the Bible.
Clearly you hate the Bible, and reject it.
And if you wish to keep harassing me by continuing this pointless exchange, I will simply continue to point that out.
I care that you know the truth.
And you teach falsehoods.
The Bible teaches me truth.
Acts 17:11 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
I have examined the Scriptures, just as the noble Bereans did.
And they teach the Trinity.
The Bible is trustworthy and reliable.
You are untrustworthy and unreliable.
The truth is that the Father is "the only true God,"
Amen!
And thet Trinity is 100% consistent with that.
and that Jesus Christ is God's human Messiah.
Amen!
And thet Trinity is 100% consistent with that.
I'm more interested in what the Bible teaches...
Then stop harassing me, and spend your time studying the Bible.
