My day in the life of capitalism

I work at a major public university. I hear college students saying things like this all the time. Talking about how oppressed they are, how awful capitalism is, all while checking out their iPhones, listening to music on their air pods, walking around in expensive clothes, enjoying a Starbucks coffee, and driving home on the weekends in their Audis and Mini Coopers and Priuses.

Yeah, capitalism sucks.
$168 for nice jeans with holes in them.

You're buying a boat propeller and complaining about capitalism while 3/4 of the people in the world are starving? You're become as ridiculous as vibise
Starving. Per Capita annual income Korea Norte is $1,288. Socialism.

I install a fresh sacrificial anode on my prop shaft and polish my bronze folding prop on my sailboat before using a crane to launch our boat in March.

The replacement prop will run about 700 dollars. The prop folded has little drag. It will have corrosion/pitting without the cheap 10 dollar anode protection. On Google Maps, I can't see any yacht clubs in Korea Norte.

The poster who started this thread has an unhealthy hated of capitalism that leads to delusional thinking.

Under your socialism, the State is the monoply since they own all the means of production

In my socialism the bunk would have costed $15 or LESS everywhere I went, and the same goes for the propeller. Under $100 EWERYWHERE
Factories sign up exclusive contracts all the time and can decide to NOT sell retail.

Not even wholesale companies can by direct.

You can't buy a car factory direct. They set up dealers to sell and service.

Yup. Middle men which significantly increase price of the vehicles.

You can buy a cow and get milk factory direct.
Gibberish.

You own a personal boat/leisure craft, and you're bitching about capitalism? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Yes! As if they didnt own pleasure crafts in socialism or communism.:rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I bought brand new. So far the alignment is screwed, went through 6 set of tires in 2 years. The bulbs on trailer lights keep burning out, they said it was submergible and its not.( Had to change them).

The fish finder didnt work and they said they had to charge me $300 just to test drive it. I said test drive what? ,It doesn't work, so I had to send a video of the defective fish finder.

The motor doesn't properly tilt. Brought it in 1 month, they returned it? Same problem. after they said they fixed it.

Its been 2 years and they keep saying customer service will return my calls. Nada.

They will chase you down, but once they get your money they disappear. and concentrate on nagging the next guy for a sale.

So ya capitalism sucks, since in socialism, they would have better customer service because its not profit driven.

You should go ahead and move to Cuba, Venezuela, or one of the other really nice socialist/communist countries. Life there is good I bet :sneaky:

I'll stay in the good Ol' USA...
We will see how much you like capitalism when your currency is no longer the default currency and does a nose dive. :)

Man have you people been indoctrinated to believe capitalist AND socialist lies......None of the things you say are true. And I mean NONE!

LOL … yea sure ?
When inflation is so high, you will be gegging in lines. The posters on here like to laugh about Russia waiting in line for toilet paper but dont remember the great depression in the USA> Where one sign said children for sale!! OUCH!! Courtesy of capitalism!!

You don't own anything in communism, my clueless dude.
IIno such thing as private property in that system.

So again you were able to attain the wealth to own a private pleasure craft, and now you're batching about capitalism. How ungrateful.
