Sorry, in order to understand the things of God the Spirit is given just as it says. It's says nothing like what your saying. Another lame attempt to get around what it plainly says.

Of course they do. They must understand what they are hearing which only comes by The Spirit.

For the sake of others, those dead in trespasses are made alive while in said state; Ephesians 2:5ff. It doesn't have to "make sense" to be true, only carnally-minded humanists lay that criterion on God's ways.
Those of faith simply trust God, and glorify Him in it!
At that point they are saved by grace, raised in Christ, seated with Him in the heavens, granted salvation and faith, and are sealed with the Spirit.
Salvation is Soli Deo Gloria.
