He was replaced by the papacy!Unless He is resisted, As He is in your church.

Dream on. God's word is now God's holy word, which you are the one that would rather misuse the term alone when discussing scriptures. You are the one who insists God's word is not enough. It is clear in scripture whose righteousness is important, we can not earn our salvation. You totally throw out Eph 5:8+God's holy word does not say that Christ's righteousness is imputed to us, neither does it say that we are saved by faith alone.
No interpretation needed, the poster just posted scripture. Why do you keep appealing to interpretations of scripture? Is scripture alone your final/sole authority or not?
It is written:If you want me to believe that we are saved by faith alone and not by works I need to see it from scripture. The scriptures you are providing don't say that.
It is written:Does God say anywhere that we are saved by faith alone? No.
Does God say if we wish to enter life, keep the commandments? Yes.
Yup - there's NOTHING in Scripture that the Catholic Church won't ignore, or mis-represent if it gets in the way of their "Tradition".I doubt very much they know or care what is written to the Jews vs written to the Gentiles - or why it matters. that Jesus sent the 12 to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles or why He did that.
You never state what these so called works are, if not works of law what are they? You have been asked this before and you are unable to answer. We are not saved by works of the law. The OC is history. We are under the NC and works of the law no longer play a role. But there are other works besides work of the law.
It doesn't use the word alone, in it. That is a word the poster loves scripture alone, not faith alone. You know it the word the poster obsesses over. What about Eph 2:8,9. What's your "work around"??
He isn't guiding the RCC at all, it is full of false teachings and evil fruit. The Holy Spirit guides us into all the truth.
Jesus told us to be perfect as his heavenly Father is perfect.
Jesus would not give us a command if he didn't think we could keep it
What about Mary? You see that was not too hard; I knew you were begging the question.
A person is saved by faith + Pope/Magisterium ;
We have constantly asked to clarify what works are needed and you constantly refuse to say. This is a perfect example of why we should not listen to the nCCs interpretation of scripture - they make it say things it doesn't say....
that vs must not be in ding's bible. It is written:
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast
No it is clearly the RCC that does that, it makes it say Mary was a PV when it doesn't.This is a perfect example of why we should not listen to the nCCs interpretation of scripture - they make it say things it doesn't say....
that's a perfect example of why catholics don't believe in and follow Christ. This is a perfect example of why we should not listen to the nCCs interpretation of scripture - they make it say things it doesn't say....
Jesus told us to be perfect as his heavenly Father is perfect.
So, how is that working out for you? Do you still need to go to confession? Or are you finally perfect, never sinning, so you no longer need to go to confession?Jesus would not give us a command if he didn't think we could keep it.
...and that she was EC....No it is clearly the RCC that does that, it makes it say Mary was a PV when it doesn't.
Oh, you noticed....!No interpretation needed, the poster just posted scripture.
If they are not works of law, then they are works of lawlessness. (Might 'splain a whole lot!)You never state what these so called works are, if not works of law what are they? You have been asked this before and you are unable to answer.
That is not all that Paul states.Paul state dto us that NONE shall ever be justified by keeping the law!
