You neither understand nor care the least bit about international diplomacy. First off, "plausible deniability" is unheard of in that arena; countries simply deny what they want to deny, regardless of whether it's plausible or not. Second, countries spend NO time worrying about what other countries will accuse them of. They act in their own interests, period.Did he say anything that would not lead directly to being rightly accused by Russia? He made a case for anyone who would accuse the US, and belied any chance of plausible deniability...two of the most impotent gaffes in diplomacy.
