That particular verse is understood by the Jews to be talking about the Messiah. It's in the Midrash and I gave you that reference. It doesn't say Messiah in Isaiah 42.

Does he mention righteous?Just demonstrated your lack of understanding once again. What did Jesus mean when He told Nicodemus (a thinking Jew) that He would be lifted up like the pole Moses lifted up in the wilderness?
Which anointed? Which servant? That particular verse is understood by the Jews to be talking about the Messiah. It's in the Midrash and I gave you that reference.
Daniel 9:24 says basically that the entire prophecy is about redemption, "to make reconciliation for iniquity." Now go co-ordinate that statement with the gospels and Isiah 53, they are all in harmony. So, admit you were wrong in the first place. Daniel 9 mentions nothing about redemption.
Why don't you go ask your Rabbi how the Jews traditionally view that verse. He should know.Which anointed? Which servant?
The serpent on the pole represents Jesus' sacrifice and the fact that He takes our sins upon HImself. Our sins are represented by the serpent. If our sins are gone through Him He makes us righteous. We are covered by God, just like He covered Adam and Eve through a sacrifice. You have to learn to connect the dots.Does he mention righteous?
You just continuously prove that you don't understand what the gospels are all about. They all come from what has gone before in the Old Testament. And you have zero support from the 4 gospels and Jesus.
If your sins are removed taken away by God, how would he see you? Would He see you as righteous?Where does he say his righteousness is yours?
These references are about the restoration of the sacrifices in the second temple that was going to be built.Sorry, you have zero support as Ezekiel 36-45, Jeremiah 33, show sacrifices returning.
It doesn't say a person reconciles. Do you understand the background of the 70 weeks?Daniel 9:24 says basically that the entire prophecy is about redemption, "to make reconciliation for iniquity." Now go co-ordinate that statement with the gospels and Isiah 53, they are all in harmony.
I showed otherwise. These references are about the restoration of the sacrifices in the second temple that was going to be built.
What does Ezekiel 18 say?If your sins are removed taken away by God, how would he see you? Would He see you as righteous?
Rotfl... your own source doesn't support you, let alone Tanakh. You just continuously prove that you don't understand what the gospels are all about. They all come from what has gone before in the Old Testament.
John 17...all of it but especially 20-26.Show where the gospels and Jesus' words say his righteousness covers you? Be very specific.
The smoky smell is coming from you.Sorry. Isaiah doesn't show what you say.
Take a break and go to Walmart. You're getting burned here today.
Ciao!
Nothing about righteousness.John 17...all of it but especially 20-26.
Great. It's a great barbecue place I know. I love home delivery. The smoky smell is coming from you.
