Billy Bob meets the Calvinist God on Judgment Day

You need read the Bible before debating those who do .

It now appears you're here to cause conflict and see how long Christians here will labor to correct your feigned ignorance.

The term for that is , among other terms, POE Trolling.
LOL

You did nothing to prove your point or address mine

which incidentally was based on scripture which you failed to address

We are not saved nor come to faith by our own merit. God calls whom he will to his Salvation.

It is a gift. Not a reward.
Faith is not a system of merit

Romans 4:2-5 (CSBBible)
2 If Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about — but not before God.
3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.
4 Now to the one who works, pay is not credited as a gift, but as something owed.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes on him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited for righteousness.

your theology is not a substitute for scripture

You're wrong.

It would be folly to try to convince you of that fact when God's words fail to do so first.
Another scripture less, evidence less post

and scripture goes unanswered

Predestination concerns the destiny of the elect

Ephesians 1:4-5 (KJV)
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

election referring to God's choice

Where does the Bible speak of "election to perdition"?

And yes, the elect are saved by grace.
And the condemned are condemned by their works (sins).
God wrote the names of God's Elect in the Lambs Book of Life before the foundation of the world.
Before Eden, before the fall.

Revelation. Those who's names were not written in that Book are cast into the lake of fire.

God predetermined, predestined, foreordained, all things. All prophecy in both Old and New Testaments serve ss evidence.

If we trust God, how do we not trust God at God's word.

Faith is not a system of merit.
That's correct. That is why people do not earn their Salvation. Nor are we able to keep nor lose it.

Faith and Salvation are a free irrevocable gift of God. Not of ourselves that none may boast.

You are unable to afford such advice when you first confess you do not know how to trust God at God's word.

I have NEVER "confessed [ I ] do not know how to trust God at God's word."
Why the personal attack?
Why the misrepresentation?

True except predestination is never used of the wicked like Calvin taught . That was my point.

I don’t respond to the other poster as I’ve quoted Calvin many times teaching double predestination but he continues to ack like I have not so I do not play his cat and mouse games . Thank you .
You fail to think outside your preferred box.

When God predestined people to Salvation , God predestined those whom he did not.

You are unable to afford such advice when you first confess you do not know how to trust God at God's word.

For the record, I most certainly DO know how to trust God, and I DO trust God.

For the record, I corrected a poster who misrepresented Calvinism by talking about about being "elect unto perdition", which the Bible never speaks of.

You butted in by making a number of (unsubstantiated) claims, and NEVER demonstrated that the Bible teaches anyone is "elected unto perdition". And then you made a false claim about me. I won't ask you to apologize, but God knows you need to.

That's correct. That is why people do not earn their Salvation. Nor are we able to keep nor lose it.

Faith and Salvation are a free irrevocable gift of God. Not of ourselves that none may boast.
Faith is man's response to God's truth

Saving faith is never stated to be a gift but it is enabled by grace

I have NEVER "confessed [ I ] do not know how to trust God at God's word."
Why the personal attack?
Why the misrepresentation?
I read your words. Do you write your own posts? How do you fail to remember them?

My post 252: (sic)"...If we trust God, how do we not trust God at God's word."

Your reply in post 253: (sic)"...I don't know."

So is Arminianism grounded in the Bible and I’m neither one .
Nor am I.

Some attack a doctrine yet fail to realize the Bible is the foundation of them.

Some say they believe in God. Yet demonstrate they are not accepting God's words when it conflicts with their preferred.
