God wrote the names of God's Elect in the Lambs Book of Life before the foundation of the world.
Before Eden, before the fall.
Revelation. Those who's names were not written in that Book are cast into the lake of fire.
God predetermined, predestined, foreordained, all things. All prophecy in both Old and New Testaments serve ss evidence.
If we trust God, how do we not trust God at God's word.

That's correct. That is why people do not earn their Salvation. Nor are we able to keep nor lose it.
Faith and Salvation are a free irrevocable gift of God. Not of ourselves that none may boast.
You are unable to afford such advice when you first confess you do not know how to trust God at God's word.

For the record, I most certainly DO know how to trust God, and I DO trust God.
For the record, I corrected a poster who misrepresented Calvinism by talking about about being "elect unto perdition", which the Bible never speaks of.
You butted in by making a number of (unsubstantiated) claims, and NEVER demonstrated that the Bible teaches anyone is "elected unto perdition". And then you made a false claim about me. I won't ask you to apologize, but God knows you need to.

The bible does not mention the term predestination to salvation

Actually it is grounded on the teaching of Augustine replicated in the teaching of Calvin
