Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, not Calvin or Luther nor any Reformed person. Please do not be deceived.

Why are you trying to minimize, even erase, "him who justifies the ungodly" from God's word?
I always knew you hated God's word.
Why do you omit but believe

Romans 4:5 (ESV) — 5 And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

It is you who subtracts from the word of God thus hating it.

Well I will say that those in the Reformed camp have quite a bit correct.
I have been staying scripture for over 20 years.
I have a few differences with some in Reformers.
One is of course infant baptism. Probably my biggest concern.

Do you believe the infant baptism is correct given the word of God and in particular Paul's letters?
You need to go to a different forum. This is not the Reformed Forum...

How many know that Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles?

Um, anyone who has read the Bible?
Seriously, you need to get over yourself.
You seem to think you're the only one who has ever opened up a Bible.
Are you intentionally being insulting, or does it just come naturally to you?

So why do many new versions have an apostle in Romans 11:13?

As far as I can tell, ALL of them.
I checked the ESV, NASB, NET, HCSB, and NIV, and ALL of them have "apostle" there.
You truly have no clue what you're talking about, don't you?

Rom. 11:13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry (ESV)

I agree. I just looked and saw about 25 translations with Apostle... This kid is really in need of some help...

stop this constant denigration of me, it is truly ungodl.

The question was “an” versus “the”
the KJB and some others have “the”. Many new versions have “an”
since Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles. “an“ is a change

Ohhhhhhhhh!!!!! You are a KJV Onlyist... That explains a lot...

Okay, so I misunderstood your question (which is not surprising, since your questions seem to be completely random and without any rationale).

Many new versions have "an apostle" in Romans 11:13, because THAT is the correct translations of the Greek:

Rom. 11:13 Ὑμῖν ..γὰρ λέγω τοῖς ἔθνεσιν. .. ἐφ̓ .. ὅσον μέν εἰμι ἐγὼ ... ἐθνῶν
....................to-y'all for I say to-the Gentiles, to as-many-as . am . I of-the-Gentiles
ἀπόστολος, τὴν διακονίαν .. μου .. δοξάζω·
an-apostle, .. the ... service of-me I-magnify

Since "apostolos" doesn't have the definite article, the rendering "the apostle" is errant.
The KJV is (yet again) in error.

Then why the KJv onlyist comemt.
I was just responding to your comment

You need to pay better attention to what you're responding to.
I don't think he made the "KJV-only" comment. I did.
You gave yourself away with your bogus claimt that Sinaiticus and Vaticanus were allegedly "corrupt".

But since you are apparently completely ignorant of the manuscripts, I'm not surprised.

So according to that, would the apostle be an error?

This from the same guy who constantly falsely accuses me of following "man-made" doctrines.
Physician, heal thyself!
Double standards much?

Yes, your behaviour is TRULY "ungodl [sic]".

The question was “an” versus “the”

Yes, and the KJV is in error, since the Greek doesn't have the article.

No, Scripture teaches that Paul was 'an" apostle to the Gentiles".
So "the" is the corrupted change.

That's okay... Between Steven Anderson, Sam Gipp, Gail Riplinger, and Steven Avery (wow, same name as the Wisconsin murderer!), I'm used to it.
There was one of these guys who died some years back who I found out was from my home town... I was a little shocked...
