That verse teaches that for us the natural is first, and then the spiritual. That means we are natural creatures living in the natural world, but when this is over we will be spiritual creatures living in the spiritual world.
It has no wording about changing a natural body into a spiritual body.
Also the verse is a comparison bewteen Adam and Jesus. not a comparison or progress of our natural bodies becoming spiritual

Strong's Greek: 5591. ψυχικός (psuchikos) -- natural, of the soul or mind

Soulish nature that "does not accept the things of the Spirit" must transition into pneumatic nature, that means resurrection of spiritually dead, or Adam 1 soulish into Adam 2 pneumatic. That is what Paul said in 1Cor 15, it is not about corpses being restored to life.

When we are indwelt by Christ, we then can have a deeper understanding of God and spiritual truth,before that happens we have a limited ability to understand spiritual truth, but enough to know right from wrong

Actually it means were are born mortal flesh, born of a woman under the law, but the spiritual come when born again as Jesus was in Matt 3:16 where the Spirit man comes to life by God opening up the Spirit world in man.

The first man Adam was of flesh, the first man Jesus was of flesh, the second man Adam receieved from Goid His mind, Spirit and became like God to know this difference, Gen 3;22. Jesus gad that same revelation when he was about 30 when God opens up His mind, Spirit, in Jesus ion Matt 3:16. We all can read how this came about and how it all comes about to anyone who will obey and receieve from God His same knowledge to have the mind of Christ, which simply is to be anointed of Gods mind, or Spirit the mind is referred to.

The Holy Spirit is to have the mind of the creator of it and in His same image that is not flesh and bone. As Jesus was clear to Thomas that Spirit doesnt have flesh and bone as you see me. Cant see Spirit. Jesus was very clear in this in Luke 17:20-21, the kingdo pop God doesnt come with observation it is within you.

Awww but once one does see Him as He is, Spirit, ye shall be like Him. 1 John 3.

Only when God comes to you and opens up who He is and all of His heaven in you as He did in Jesus in Matt 3:16, and others we read of who received the same from God will one see who God is and who Jesus was.

Resurrection day is the very day one meets God as Jesus did in. Matt 3:16. That is the only opportunity one will get is when you are lifted up to Him as Jesus was in Matt 3:16.

Resurrection day? Jesus described that day as born again, to have Gods own mind, or Spirit the mind is referred to Who raises people up from that dead state of spiritual retirement and makes us as Himself. See Gen 3;22.

Jesus was very clear that the kingdom of God doesnt come with observation but is within you. Luke 17:20-21.

Not many believe Jesus in the ways of Gods Spirit to receive these things as Jesus did themselves.

Jesus was not God, he was Gods son and God sent his son to lead you to Him.

In Matt 3:16 we read where Jesus didnt even know God until He came to Jesus and opened up who He is and all of His heaven in that man. How can you say Jesus was a god when he didnt even know the God of heaven?

But here is the guarantee, that when you see Him as He is as Jesus did, ye shall be like Him as well. 1 John 3. You havent met the Father have you and is that not why you worship flesh as a god instead of the One who is a Spirit who opens Himself to Jesus, o[ened Himself to Adam Gen 3:22, Opened Himself in Abraham, Moses, 120 and all today who has seen Him as He is. All of these became like Him and Jesus was no exception.

Without Matt 3:16 Jesus would have stayed in the Jewish temples teaching their laws for sin. He wasn't a god, he was only a god if you woirhip a man as a god, the Greek were notorious for worshiping man as a god. So are most of our denominations. Some of these even worship three gods they deem as a trinity.

But Jesus had one God that he obeyed, and said he could do noting without the father who sent him. The God that Jesus prayed to that you have the same from his God that he had from Him in John 17 and called Father.

Had you met his God as Jesus did you would know that God is a Spirit and not a man. Man is only the temple of Him.

There are many Bible verses that you must set aside to turn Jesus into whatever it is you have concocted in your mind, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.

If you do not believe that God came to Jesus by the Spirit that God is in Matt 3:16 then I do know why it is ver very confusing for you what actually happens in Jesus from God.

You can’t identify with the same from God as Jesus received from Him is all. Your elementary understanding can’t see the truth in Matt 3:16 is all. You wade the shallows of a beach from a very deep Ocean.

Yes, God came to Jesus at the Baptism. It was done for our benefit to verify who He was/is.

What is the argument about regarding those disciples of John the baptist who had not heard of the Holy Spirit ?

Actually the One who comes after Johns ritual of water is the same One who came to Jesus in Matt 3:16.

Past incarnations? Jesus became God incarnate in Matt 3:16. Incarnate is God coming into man from the outward inward and all are God incarnate who has received from God the same as came into Jesus.
